I have only used the pan a couple times since receiving it so I can't comment on the cooking surface yet. The handle, however is not good. It's a screw on handle and it cannot be tightened down enough (without stripping the threads) to keep it from coming loose while cooking. When picking up the pan during cooking the handle comes loose and the pan flops over--a dangerous scenerio. Considering the price of this pan it should have a better designed handle. I have other pans with permanently attached handles which can be put into a 500 degree oven.

I have had this griddle for years and it truly is wonderful to use and clean. My bacon is cooked on it with low heat and it turns out perfectly. No splatters and fat neatly melted. It's very giftable too which is why I ordered another.

First, be sure to read and follow the "Pan Care" recommendations on their Website - "Good Care, Perfect Results". This is the first time I actually believe in such a claim. Yes, you pay for these pans however in this case, you pay for what you get - and so far, I am extremely pleased. I would give this griddle 6 stars if they had perhaps done the handle a bit differently. It is big, easy to grip, no fault there. Can't hang this bad boy which would be a nice feature. Also, would like to see perhaps a better way to secure the handle to the griddle. It's not bad. I would just do it differently. All in all, an awesome pan that is well worth the investment. I plan on adding additional pans!

I am attempting to write a review of the seller, but I have not found a way to do this on older orders on Amazon. Anyway, I purchased 2 pans from Eurocast in 2016. One of them being this 10" Pancake griddle. Late in 2019 everything I cooked stuck to the pans. I remembered when purchasing the Eurocast product, that it had a lifetime warranty. I contacted Scott at Eurocast and he immediately sent me out 2 replacements for the pans. Excellent customer service and great warranty! Real warranty!

The Berghoff Pancake pan is a wonderful product. Eggs, omelets or pancakes all turn out perfect. The pan heats uniformly, so the temperature is spread evenly across the pan. Nothing sticks, and it's easily cleaned with a soft soapy sponge. I recommend it .

Eurocast cookware is not inexpensive but we have been very pleased with our set. When it came time to add a griddle, we found the best price on Amazon. The griddle is well made and the non-stick surface is, well, non-stick. And it does not wash off. We have three year old pieces that look new and we're sure the griddle will be the same. Definately worth the money.

It cooks faster, food tastes better, almost anything will wipe off with a paper towel and nothing is so hard to get off that hot soapy water soak for a few minutes will remove anything.

I bought the professional set of pans which is why when I saw the price I purchased this one.Still a great pan, but not the same quality of the new pro set, but that also explains the fantastic price on it.The new pro set has quick release handles, this one doesn't. That being said this is still a high quality pan for the price!
