This is a beautiful, wonderful book that teaches about seasons. We have several from this author and they are all really good, but this is my son's favorite.

I love that the story shows the tree in many different stages of life, and all who live there throughout the seasons! The pages are easy for a baby to handle. Even her nurses enjoyed while she was hospitalized!

Exactly what my daughter wanted, she read it at school and wanted to get her own copy. She loves it and it’s a wonderful book. She said you’re supposed to read it to the tune of twinkle twinkle or you’re doing it wrong! Haha.Not the authors fault but distribution dropped the ball on packaging. Scuffs on the corners and peeling in others but I figure it will get beat up anyways so I’ll keep it. “Well loved” covers and bindings.

I love the materials used for the book; the quality of the cover and the pages is excellent, pleasant to the touch.The colors used throughout our beautiful, vibrant and the illustrations are very rich and attractive.It's also a beautiful account of seasons changing through the year. Very well done. I would love it even if I didn't have a kid.

Bought this for my son, we love it!

This is one of the first books that we got for our son and it still is his favorite. The colors are vivid and the illustrations are lovely and the quality is great. The peek-through cutouts make it very visually entertaining to read. We will be buying her other book "Bees" as well!

I am a big fan of this book. The colors are bright and interesting and most pages have cutouts on them. The explanation of the seasons and how they change was well done. My kids like to sit down and listen to the story. I think it is a great picture book to explain the seasons.

Can't say enough about this book and all others creations of Britta Teckentrup. Definitely worth having. Great present for any child older that 18 months. This will be a book that they go back reading again and again and as the grow they start learning more about the facts it tries to teach. But the book is so attractive and beautiful that can take attention of any kid no matter at which age they are.

This is a nice quality book. The paper and colours are really nice as is the writing, unlike mine :D

季節の移り変わりを素敵なタッチの絵でみせてくれます。見ているだけでも楽しく、息子と絵を眺めて「ここがこうなったね」「ここにこんな動物がいるよ！」とか話すのも楽しみ方の１つになっています。英語も難しくないし、量も多くないので初心者の方も読みやすいと思います。

Book is beautifully illustrated. Story is interesting and reads easily in rhyme; shows how the life of forest changes through the season of the year. Good for 2+ year olds; but 3+ year olds would be able to appreciate it more.
