Amanofuzu commercial egg soup TR30 7g ~ 30 pieces

I purchased this 'Amano Foods Egg Soup' after being a regular purchaser of 'Amano Foods Miso Soup'. This is among one of the best instant, freeze-dried soups I have purchased. It is easy to prepare (just add boiling water!) and is flavorful and savory. At only 30 calories it is a welcome addition to my afternoon "soup snack" habit and is truly delicious!

Excellent instant soup. Easy to make. Sometimes to stretch it a bit I use a 16oz cup and add 1/8tsp of bullion. Resealable bag is great. Perfect to take care of those 4PM cravings.

Instant gratification with this savory and delicious soup. The stock is fish and kombu based, and the egg has a nice soft texture. Authentic Japanese umami flavor.

It's okay I guess, if you have bland taste buds, or inexperienced in what good egg-drop soups. Very starchy and bland in flavors. Not enough water, it'd be like drinking thin glue, more water, it'd get even more bland. I had to dress mine up with various condiments in order to down it. Like one of the previous reviewer stated, it does have a fishy taste - I think due to having anchovy flavored powder in the soup which is common for Japanese soups.I've bought their mushroom red miso version (acceptable, little too dark and salty), and eggplant white miso (the best), but this one is a never ever again!
