These Standard Fleshing Knives are ideal for low to medium volume fur processing. They are made of carbon steel and are available in three sizes. The smallest one has a blade that is 1" x 10" and is good for mink and muskrats. The middle sized one has a blade that is 1 1/2" x 12" and is used for raccoon, fox and other similarly sized animals. The largest one has a blade that is 2" x 16" and is used for coyote, beaver, bobcat and large raccoon. These fleshing knives are one sided knives and do not come with a sharp edge.

Rusted after one use
Spend a dollar more and get a stainless steel flesher. I’m thoroughly disappointed in this flesher.

Mixed emotions
Very sturdy and stout was a little wide for me and rubbed the back of my thumb knuckle raw. Blade wash very blunt great for pushing the grain of as long as hide was well soaked. Blade did rust and divit pretty quickly does not stand up to the corrosive lye or acidifying solution well...

Got to put the hide on a round surf like a tree or pole.
Easy way to get meat off the hide.

They knives come in a heavy duty case. My husband ordered these. I diverted them into the kitchen because man they work great!
