What a disappointment
Although feature-packed, the quality of this grill is a major disappointment:- The front doors won't install correctly due to pivot pins that are too short. I've given up on them and now leave them off.- The temperature gauge doesn't work at all, and the way it attaches is unsecure. It also will no longer stay on.- After one winter with a heavy-duty cover under a covered porch, all of the stainless steel is badly rusted.I've had stainless steel grills before go 6-7 years with no signs of exterior rust. This is terrible. Would never buy from this company again.

Five Stars
Great BBQ! Exactly what we expected since we have an older model Blue Ember.

Great heat, horrible Customer Service, rusts quickly inside
We got our Blue Ember 3 years ago.We had done a lot of research before buying a grill. We were willing to spend more than in the past but didn't want to go as high as a Weber of the same size. Let me also say that my model has (FG50069) has been discontinued, but I find that this is it's replacement. I absolutely love the way this grill cooks. I had owned cheaper grills in the past and could only cook on the upper half. This has great heat distribution and doesn't have any hot spots. I was very happy. We had read that past models tended to be made of poor quality aluminum and this was the case with ours. At the end of the first season the drip pan had rusted. We didn't replace it because it was still hanging on. I recently noticed it had completely rusted/rotted (this started a big grease fire)and went on line to find a new one. I saw that many models, mine included, had been recalled for the gas hose and drip pan. Here's where my low rating comes in. If you call the number for the recall, you are placed on hold (I mean an hour - make sure you have your DVR cued up to catch up on your soaps like I did). They say for faster service to contact them by email. Tried that. Twice. No reply. I found their page on Facebook and there were countless complaints about the same lack of service. I googled their address to get another number from their office in Tn. Called that number. Got "for Blue Ember Recall press 0", which starts the whole automated process again. So I will never buy a Blue Ember product again. It's a total shame because it is a great grill if the company could stand behind it and fix the problems.

RUN from this grill
I replaced my old Weber after a decade of great service. The reviews said this blue ember was just as good - with many more features at a lower price. BIG mistake. the drip pan rusted out, the metal discolored, the "divider" (to help keep heat on one side) prevents the grill from opening, the door and drawers do not shut well, and, most importantly -- it does not get that hot and the heat is uneven. Looks bad and works bad....after only 3 years.I am going back to a Weber......With Blue Ember you do NOT get what you pay for.

Feista grills were bought out by Onward Manufacturing
The product does not hold up for the price thatyou pay. Went through 3 temp. gauges and 2 drip pans in 4 years.Stainless Steel is poor quality rusts on doors. Forthe price I will go back to a WEBER which I never should havegiven up.

grilling disaster
Inconsistent heating. Bad temp Guage. I bought it at 50% off thinking iam getting a bargain. Total waste of money. pay some more and buy a good grill. Don't buy this one.

poor grill design and construction
I purchased the Blue Ember fiesta grill because of it's features and what appeared to be a durable construction. I was willing to pay a higher price for a long lasting quality grill. One year after purchase and approximately ten grilling events the drip pan completely disintegrated due to rust. In addition the slides which held the drip pan also rusted away from the inside frame; thus rendering a replacement pan of no value. The metal coating on the burner knobs is also peeling off the knobs. This grill presents serious safety hazards when hot grease pours onto the gas tank components through the rusted drip pan. The grill should be taken off the market to prevent serious injuries to consumers.

Very happy with my Blue Ember grill!
Like the other reviews the drip pan rusted away so I called Blue Ember and they sent me the upgraded pan and gas line for free. These were recall items anyway. So I have had a few years of excellent grilling with this unit since and now it is time to replace the burners which I will gladly do since the rest of the grill is in perfect shape.
