Perfect gift for architect and mid-century fans
This is a beautiful book. Great pictures , heavy and perfect coffee table book. My sister is an architect and Mid-Century and Palm Springs are her passions. She was so excited to get this for a gift and commented several times how much she has enjoyed it , my sister is not one of these , that is easy to please , and she doesn't gush over anything, but this book was a home run for me in the gift giving this year.

Amazing
It’s simply amazing that so many of these fantastic houses are still with us in Palm Springs. This book covers the career of one of the principle architects of these mid century classics.

Second edition should include more floor plans
Great text with nice photographs and corresponding elevations.A nice tribute to a visionary architect who made great contributions to implementing mid-century modernism to every day consumers.Very short on the key ingredient of architecture - floor/site plans. Absence of floor plans makes it very difficult to truly feel integration of interior and exterior space which is the strongest attribute of a great Architect.

My wife and I were delighted to have found this book to add to our growing collection of Mid Century Modern books. This book is a must read for anyone interested in William Krisel'smid century modern architecture. Exterior and interior architectural photography is nicely documented by photographer Darren Bradley, who in our opinion is the Julius Shulman of our time. Each and everyone of his photos is well thought out and perfectly executed. Would highly recommend this book.

Perfektes Buch

Exellent read!
Refreshing to read about the considered architecture of post war mass housing in an age where most UK housing is designed in a pastiche style with no particular reference to context or the spirit of the age. The book is richly illustrated with some impressive period and present day photographs of key projects. Would highly recommend to anybody keen to learn more about a master mid century modernist architect and his extensive output.

Highly recommended
Wonderful book about Krisel and his work. A good balance between biographical information, theoretical background and focus on the different projects in real.
