Excellent product, easy to use and high quality
Only needed the female side of this connector set to repair an old 10GA 3 wire extension cord. 1:1 cable prep diagram is printed on the plug with color coded screws (silver (white), black and green) to fasten the bare conductors. This replacement connector has no trouble with clamping the thick cable secure and actually still has room for even thicker cable. The only 2 modification I made are to put a zip tie on the outer jacket of the extension cord prior to closing the clamshell and used marine proxy to seal the remaining space between the cable and the connector.

A high quality plug and connector
This is just a plug and connector set, but if designed or constructed poorly these item would certainly be hazards. This set is high quality by all appearances. It was easy to connect up the plug and it is holding the output wiring well. I believe it is money well spent.

Extremely easy to attach and grabs onto an outdoor extension cord tight enough that it won't pull apart

Easy to install. A bit large for my application.
It was easy to mount the male and female connectors on my power cable. I would have preferred a smaller connector but could not easily find one and the size did make mounting on the power cable easier than if it has been miniature.
