This is my first time writing a review for a product ever and I would recommend to give it a try
This product really works!!! I will certainly buy again.Procedure I followed: Applied henna on hair for two hours and rinsed the hair. Dried hair and applied Indigo paste on hair by mixing it with hot/warm water 15 minutes prior and left it on hair for an hour and half. After wash my hair was BLACK unbelievably!!!!!!!!!!! I must mention that some parts of hair was pitch dark green (which is almost black and is not noticeable by anyone) . This is nothing to worry if applying for first time I believe, because by next day it oxidised and turns dark green hair to black color. I wish I had taken pictures of my hair from before henna to after indigo application.I was hesitant reading the reviews but dared to try it out as a last resort and it did not fail me. This is my first time writing a review for a product ever and I would recommend to give it a try.

... the indigo powder with henna on my hair and loved the results
Used the indigo powder with henna on my hair and loved the results. I used amla powder as well in my mix and all the three ingredients did the magic to my hair. I have black hair with lot of grey hairs and i usually henna my hair. So my grey hairs are reddish to orange color. Soaked 4 tbs of henna in apple cider vinegar for 10 hrs. Added 4 tbs of indigo powder to boiling water in a separate bowl and added this mix to my soaked henna. similarly added 1 tbs of amla powder to boiling water and added the mix to my henna and indigo mix. Applied the whole mixture to my hair immediately and let it for 1.5 hrs. All my grey hairs turned blackish brown and the results are amazing. Do not forget to use gloves during this process as this mixtures stains your hands and nails. It happened with me :).

full gray hair coverage!
I purchased this indigo powder to be used together with another henna product for covering gray hair. After the henna application, the gray hair turns bronze reddish, then apply this indigo powder as instructed. The hair turns black with complete coverage. the trick is to NOT cover the head with plastic wrapper (or other material) because I think the dye requires to be oxidized for coloring development. I gave it 4 star only because my skull felt itchy for a couple of days after the coloring. I think it might be caused by some chemical reaction. But I didn't experience hair falling or dull effect. overall, I would recommend this product to my friends.

I loved this product
I loved this product. This is how i used it:1. soaked 4 tsp of indigo powder in water(yogurt consistency), celon wrap and cover it for 20 - 30 min. It releases dye.2. Mix it with equal portion or pre soaked good quality henna.Apply it and leave it on for 2 hours. Wash hair ONLY with WATERa. Upon hair drying, apply generous amounts of coconut oil and was your hair NEXT day with shampoo. ORb. I just let it dry out, after i returned from work next day i put oil in the evening ..kept it on for 1 hr and washed my hair.use a good shampoo and conditioner . I used argon oil based shampoo & conditioner. i have LOT of grey hair. all my roots are grey infact. it turned dark brown.

The smell....
After I henna'd my hair, I was disappointed with the reddish roots. So I mixed and applied this indigo. The smell initially was slightly pungent but expected. Color turned out great. However several days later, even after a shampoo, I made the fateful decision to go to the gym. After only 15 minutes of sweating, I could definitely smell the indigo coming from my head. It was sooo STRONG and embarrassing. There is no doubt in my mind others around me could smell it too. And then even after washing again, I can still smell it.....I'm having to spritz body spray and dry shampoo just to cover the smell. Feel like I shouldn't have to do that. Again, the color is fantastic with henna, got the dark rich, shiny color I desired. I just don't know about the stench.

... hair when i was at my aunts house and loved it, and didn't want to go back to ...
I recently tired henna for my hair when i was at my aunts house and loved it, and didn't want to go back to coloring my hair with dye. The only drawback was it made my grey hair look red. I did some research and found out about indigo powder. I was still skeptical, cause maybe this had dye in it or some sort of colouring. When i mixed it with water it did not look blue at all, which is a good sign cause any artificial dye or colouring, will instantly pull the colour out when you add water. It looked like henna but a darker green. I used henna 2 days before using this and my hair looks amazing. No greys. It covered each and every grey hair!!!!! I am so happy, cause colouring my hair with dye was making it fall out!

DOES NOT TURN A SHADE OF BLUE LIKE ADVERTISED IN PICTURES
I bought this Indigo Powder for the soul purpose of it being advertised to turn a product a shade of blue. It DOES NOT turn a shade of blue. It stays the green color of the powder itself. I bought this product to dye my handmade soap. At first, I thought maybe it was just the fact that it was mixed with the soap mixture, a fact that shouldn't matter because soap makers all over use Indigo Powder to turn their soap blue. So I tried mixing it in water, still green. Tried mixing it in oil, still green. So if you are looking for a product to turn another product blue then you are wasting your money if you buy this product. As far as I'm concerned, they are very misleading in their photographs. The photographs were the reason I went ahead and choose this product, because I really liked the "blue" that was advertised.

) Love it.
While it's not as dark as some of the fake products or indigo brands with chemicals, this one is pure and did in fact give my dark brown hair a natural, bold black color. I applied it AFTER I used henna. (Process: mix henna, water, lemon, process 3 hours in bowl, apply to hair and sit for 1-2 hours- rinse thoroughly. When henna was still on head mix indigo and water, sit for 1 hour in bowl to process so it's ready for when henna is rinsed out. Pat hair so it's not too wet, pay indigo, sit for 1-2 hours - I personally was only able to do it for 45 min. because of timing. Since thoroughly, dry, then don't wash hair again for 2 days min so the color can set!)Love it.
