I am so happy that I bought this feeder/toy for my one-year-old Aussie!Before I purchased it, my girl would eat well one day, then ignore her food the next day or two, and so on. However, because she is an Aussie, or a working dog by both nature and genetics, she loves having a job to do.So, now, she happily "works" for her food twice a day--every day--and loves it! And I love it, too. Not only is the item easy to fill, but I enjoy watching her bopping it with her nose or foot, and figuring out creative solutions to getting it out from under furniture or tight corners, etc. And, regardless of how often it gets bopped into furniture, it has done no damage whatsoever to anything. And, given that we have a few pieces of gorgeous Victorian furniture in our living room, this matters to us a great deal!Best of all, our dog is eating every day, twice a day, at a relaxed pace, and enjoying it thoroughly. In fact, although I still put a little dry food in her bowl, in case she gets hungry before I have the chance to fill her toy, she rarely, if ever, touches the food in her bowl. In fact, even though she sits beside me on the couch while I fill it, she doesn't even touch the wide-open container in which I have the food, despite having it right beside her. Instead, she waits patiently for me to put the toy down on the floor for her. After all, the toy is like a giant weeble (remember those?) that dispenses food, and how much would our kids have loved that, back in the day?So, I can, quite sincerely, highly recommend this toy! It is well designed, extremely sturdy, and easy to fill. Best of all, my dog loves it! She has several puzzle toys/feeders, but this is the one that she wants to use--exclusively now--because she has not grown tired of it or bored with it. My dog absolutely loves this. He will bat it around for hours. He loves the thrill of it rolling all around my hard wood floors. It’s very durable and fits treats of varying sizes. Just be careful not to trip over it like I have done a few times.

I got the large size as slow feeders for each of my 2 full size goldendoodles. It does entertain them and slows down feeding. We load with kibble and it was really annoying to load because there is only a small hole in the top to load through, despite the fact this hole is under a larger cap. I “fixed” it by just dremeling out the area where you load it so it’s much easier to pour in a cup of kibble. It seems like it would not be hard to make this so that the lid I dremeled out could just snap in and out of place. But overall, I’m happy with it.

I have a fairly smart Golden (except she barks at leaves) But she needs things to keep her busy. I got this when someone posted on Facebook about how their dog loves it. It has been a good thing to keep her busy and she constantly goes and plays with it. I did leave the top off as a suggestion for an additional challenge or them, but she has chewed it. Not very chew proof, but otherwise it has held up. I put in dog food and cheerios and they can easily come out. You can adjust the opening. It is a little hard to fill as you can only put in a few pieces at a time, so I wish it had a screw off top.

My dog loved this toy and played with it several times. The trouble is that instead of bopping it, he was picking it up and throwing it in the air to get the treats out. 😬 He eventually chewed through and broke the top. Overall I’d say this is an excellent toy for most dogs but not right for my big guy.

This is a wonderful treat dispenser. It's easy to use, it's attractive looking, and my dog loves it. It keeps my gs dog actively busy and actively thinking for a bit, so I appreciate it. Great buy, recommend it!

These are fantastic. Our puppies are scarfers and we have to slow them down. These are not only a great way to keep them from eating way too fast, but they also have a great time knocking them around and hunting down all of the kibbles. the opening could be larger for filling - a home made funnel helps. Also wouldn't leave a dog crated with these if they're determined chewers.Perfect for the intended use.

My dog doesn't get too into toys, but he loves attention. And treats. And with this, it's obvious he's willing to work for them (treats - he doesn't need to work for my attention). Thankfully, this keeps him pretty busy when I can't devote my attention to him.

Dog loves it, had it a week so far and works great - our dog is a 11 year old german shepard/rottwiler/aussie mix (medium to large dog). We like that the toy is built sturdy and you can adjust the size of the windows to the treat size. Great for food motivated dogs when they get restless - keeps him busy for a while.

I was looking for a food dispenser toy as a boredom breaker for my working cocker spaniel and as a method of making him ‘work’ for his food to help manage his waistline! I’ve had various types before but they usually don’t get used, either because they dispense food too easily and only last a few minutes each time, are flimsy and break, or are too difficult and he gets bored trying with no reward. This one is great; a good size and really robust, and the weighting combined with the ability to vary the size of the dispensing hole means it’s just difficult enough without being too difficult. I put his kibble in it each evening, along with a few pieces of treats to make it even more interesting, and he spends a good half hour pushing it around till it’s empty. It really keeps his attention and he looks forward to it each day; he knows when it’s time and gets very excited waiting while I fill it! By the time it’s empty he’s ready for a sleep, so it definitely tires him out mentally and physically. As some other reviews say, it takes a few minutes to get the kibble and treats fed into the hole to fill it, but it’s a very minor niggle and certainly wouldn’t put me off buying it. Definitely well worth the money- if you’re looking for a food dispenser toy for any reason, I’d highly recommend trying this one.

Excellent jouet, mes chiens l'ont immédiatement adopté et l'adorent! Il y a une trappe rotative en dessous du bouchon jaune, qui permet de le remplir avec de petites croquettes et une trappe sur le côté, dont l'ouverture est ajustable pour permettre aux croquettes de tomber. Mes chiens le poussent avec leur pattes et le bout du nez dans toute la pièce et jouent avec un plaisir évident, je ne regrette pas mon achat.
