Seikei Soup Spoons - Large Round - 7.25 Inch - 4 Piece Set - Stainless Steel

As other reviewers have mentioned, what is the big deal about a soup spoon? Frankly, I don't remember why I ordered them to begin with (it may have been the 'deal' offered), but having done so, I understand how a soup spoon should be designed and i love them. I think it is one of those items that just enhances one's life in a little way and makes me smile because it so outweighed my expectation when I used them. I run a Vacation rental business and often have things in the apartments that will introduce a guest to something new - artisan preserves, coffee, etc. After using these spoons, I have ordered other sets to put in the rentals. Their style is simple enough that it easily goes with almost any table setting from very ornate to simple. Although it feels really silly to say, I do love these spoons.

I looked at many different stainless steel "large" soup spoons. From the pictures, I was hopeful that these had a little more depth than the many others that appeared to be lesser quality. While they are well made, I went back and scoured Amazon for ones with a deeper bowl, from Qualizon, which are what I wanted in the first place. I'll use these others for cooking.

Well, I'm just so happy to have found these wonderful large bowl soup spoons. The weight and weight distribution is perfect. They have a sleek, smooth shiny finish and a style that will blend with any decor.I thought the soup spoons I had were a good size but I knew I had eaten from ones with larger bowl. These are the best size esp for gumbo, red beans and rice, chili, French onion soup.

Good looking, nice weight, shaped the way a soup spoon should be. To those who are complaining about the size of the bowl: These are not teaspoons or tablespoons. These are SOUP spoons. The bowl of a soup spoon is not meant to be put entirely in your mouth! You bring the bowl up to your lips and sip from the side of the bowl.

Sharp Edges.I read all the reviews and no one wrote about the sharp edges on the handles. I removed a star for this.The other thing is that they react with the metal fillings in my mouth. Super weird feeling. I removed a star for this.Otherwise they are a nice soup spoon. I wouldn't buy again.

I am very happy with these soup spoons. They have a substantial weight, nice sized bowl and handle, and are well balanced. They feel good to eat with.I had a set of everyday favorite soup spoons that had dwindled down to one remaining spoon. Other purchases that I made were not what I was looking for. I finally found these.Recommend!

This was a gift for my husband. He has an inherited spoon from his grandmother and has always wanted to have more than one. This has filled the bill after years of searching. It's perfect for soup & stews and any comfort food. Thanks for the great service and wonderful product. We will be buying another set for friends.

These soup spoons are made of high quality polished stainless steel and are of a weight which gives you the feel of a formal table flatware setting. The length of the spoons and the size of the bowl are very comfortable for their intended purpose. The price is a real bargain for the quality you are receiving with these spoons. I will be ordering another set of four.
