The Most Perfect, Soothing Shampoo
I have been using this shampoo for about two years; first on my senior collie who had severe skin issues due to allergies, and also on my non-issue collies. My senior did so well with this shampoo. She needed frequent baths and this shampoo soothed her skin and helped her so much. I loved what it did for her and began to use it on my other collies, too. The shampoo is not strongly scented, as the ingredients are natural. It is very rich and lathers nicely. It has a very smooth consistency and my collies truly seem to be soothed by it. I leave it on my dogs’ skin for a bit, massage, and rinse thoroughly. They smell clean, their skin is clear, and their coat is shiny and soft. It helped my sweet senior in her last years and is now helping my current collies. Thank you, thank you, BotaniVet, for creating such a soothing and luxurious natural shampoo that has helped my collies feel, look, and smell their best!!

Not magic potion, bathing my cat is still a pain, but this shampoo RULES!
I have a hairless cat (yes, I am weird) that I love. Cats naturally have hair to protect their skin from the elements, so my poor kitty is prone to skin issues. Her dermatologist recommended BotaniVet's certified organic shampoo. Considering she has always had reactions, I was skeptical. However, being a science geek I loved that this shampoo was chock-full-of all-natural ingredients like manuka honey that could also help decrease bacterial skin infections! Fast forward a few weeks....I am incredibly impressed! On her first bath, I found this shampoo to be a pleasant fragrance, of nice consistently and easy to lather, while at the same time not being too sudsy. My spoiled kitty does not tolerate full baths, so she gets a sponge bath instead. This shampoo gets her very clean and is super easy to rinse off. Her skin is a super healthy and soft thanks to BotaniVet's organic oils. Don't get me wrong, this shampoo is not magical. The cat still hats baths and she has not started to grow hair, but I will never go back to any other shampoo!

Smells good & is gentle
Our holistic vet recommended this for our dog that has lost a lot of hair & has skin issues. It is gentle enough to use every day to soothe her skin. Makes her smell really nice. It is on the expensive side but our fur baby is worth it.

TaTaForNow BotaniVet is thinking along the lines of my dog's skin issues and probably your dog's skin & ears, too.
After using BotaniVet's Manuka Honey Shampoo on my pooch for over 6 months, I have user experience to back up my opinion of BotaniVet's Shampoo. Like most folks, I even went back to using a prescription shampoo and other off the shelf/off the internet problem- skin -shampoos and conditioners to come to an opinion with all of my choice dog shampoo options. The harsh -types (like sulphur), medicinal & script kinds (antihistamines), soothing bathes (oatmeal, aloe, lavender, mineral baths) and designer conditioner (Wen,yes I did,) shampoos mostly irritated my dog's condition. This Wire haired Fox Terrier (aka Martini) has developed an allergy to himself, in a matter of speaking. He is an indoor/outdoor lively lover of all things unable to resist opportunities and brought his skin situation upon himself, with my help. Martini has a very good life.I couldn't deal with the scratching.Today, He gets a Manuka bath every third day or so, has cotton pj's that get changed most nights, and a prescription topical antihistamine sprayed on during the pj change. When bath day or night rolls around, I'm reaching for BotaniVet's Manuka Honey Pet Shampoo. If you research "honey" in the medicinal sense, you will see that Egyptians(and others) applied honey to open wounds in staving off infection. Even in the most recent movie release of Rudyard Kipling's story "The Jungle Book", there is a reference to applying honey to a bee sting .... You get my point. I'm not solely a lover of all things natural. I do love my pups and products that work. Remember, I still use the pjs and Martini receives oral meds, too. BotaniVet's product works better than any other solution I've used thus far, plus the cotton jammies, and the scripts. (I have horses too; meaning that I spend time using animal products.)About BotaniVet: a nice man, Brian, inquired about my opinion after using their shampoo. Many other companies send a computer inquiry and his may have been automatically sent; HOWEVER, Brian followed through with a personal response. I wasn't going to respond until I had used the product for a while. He made a last attempt that let me know it was a last attempt. So, I told him what I thought so far. Afterwards, I knew he read my comment. You know when you get a standard, kindly put , everything-is -covered in this note-back- to-you email. He knew what I was trying to say about my pup. We spoke on the phone. He wasn't selling AND he offered a free trial to BotaniVet's ear cleaner. Cannot say enough about people who do their jobs and like what they are doing. Way to go, Brian! Give Brian an atta guy party and invite the VP's , the P, and everyone. Heck lemme know the day and I may drive over. (Better check where first, though!)About your EarCleaner... You'll need to go to that site next. Hint: Buy both products and they smell good, too!(Did I mention that I've used and like the shampoo in my own hair. This could be an option you've not explored. The wax remaining in my hair from using your shampoo gives hair follicles a manipulation factor we women use hair sprays and gels for. Problem is the texture. Someone can teach us to like and crave this texture . Somewhere in industry is a very clever marketer -type of genius who could manipulate folks into wanting this natural texture from beeswax or such.)

Smell test
Just got it but unfortunately it came all bent and dented, which I was unhappy about. The smell is okay right off the bat but I still have yet to test it in the bath. Sometimes it’s better once in use, so excited to try it out on my doggo

Good for pugs
Used shampoo on my pug who has major skin allergies and licks his paws constantly. The shampoo lathers nicely and has a very mild scent. Once I dried him off I noticed he wasn't nearly as wet as he normally is after baths, so I'm guessing the shampoo creates some kind of barrier on the skin and hair which is great. I have also noticed he has not been licking or scooting (not due to glands he has dry skin just under the tail), the skin in this area is no longer dry and red. Lastly, his fur is nice and soft either it's usual shine. Time will tell if this product helps reduce shedding as well, but so far I am impressed and it seems to me working well for him.

Great for dog's allergies
My dog has really, really fine, short hair (we say he looks like a seal) which is great for shedding, but awful for protecting his skin against allergies. We have used this shampoo a few times now and for the most part, it is like any other good dog shampoo. His coat looks glossy afterwards and no issues with rinsing it off or a bad odor. I was the most impressed using this after a day spent swimming in the lake and running through the forest - his belly was super red and looked sore from allergies. We washed him down with this shampoo and the redness reduced a little bit right away and then slowly reduced completely before the end of the day. It was by no means immediate, but it did reduce the redness much faster than it typically goes away.
