Solid adapter, works great
I'm redoing all of my irrigation and had made one elbow with a 3/4" plumbing elbow and some adapters just to use up parts, only to find that the female adapters I had were cracked (both brand new but bought months ago). I ordered these to solve the problem and they did so quite nicely, as I had one spot where I really wanted the "heavy duty" galvanized pipe elbow to be used.These are one solid piece and do not swivel. This was important for me, as I found with my previous (junk) adapters that tightening the NPT threads down properly was impossible with normal tools. There was simply no room for a wrench in between the female swivel and the pipe elbow I was screwing it into. I actually had to use a 27mm thin (very thin!) wrench, which strangely enough, I actually happened to have! And after all that, the parts were no good. These adapters on the other hand, can easily be tightened with a big adjustable wrench or even a socket if you have one the right size. If you have done any plumbing you know that the tighter you can get NPT threads, the better, even with teflon paste/tape. Being solid like these are makes them very much up to the task. Of course if you have a situation where you NEED the swivel, this is not what you want.Exactly what I needed and it works great.

THIS is the right fitting!
When you gotta go from 3/4” NPT to a standard Garden Hose (GHT), this is what you need. The threads aer sharply cut and the pitch is right. Use a teflon thread paste for your best seal on the pipe thread side. Rubber washer will be needed on the hose end.
