Nice sound
The echo is great. Set up is easy. Speakers are pretty good.The light bulb combined with the echo is convienient.

Love, Love, Love
I love my Echo Dot and smart bulb both. They are easy to set up and install, and work great in my room.

We love Alexa
We use the Alexa daily. Love the ease of being able to turn things on/ off when you're hands are full, you already got in bed, or you're in another room. Also love the routines for things like Xmas lights or reptile warming bulbs. We use the announcement and drop in features to wake kids and check on their "getting ready" progress without having to stop what we're doing. We play music, add to our shopping list, and set timers all of the time.It seems that Alexa's ability to look up info is a far cry from Google's (we often get "I don't know that" and then find it immediately on our phone) and sometimes Alexa misunderstands to a frustrating degree or randomly says something like "I didn't hear that." Overall, a great addition and we have one in 4 rooms+garage of our house... which isn't huge. They're handy.

5 dots later
The gen 4 dot looks as good as it sounds. It sounds clearer as opposed to the gen 3 dot sounding like it’s wearing a mask. Sometimes its a little hard of hearing but I assume it will get better the more it is used.

Easy to use
Like the light bulb and Alexis echo working together. Just ask Alexi to "turn on the light" and I do not walk into a dark room. After about 20 minutes she turns if off if there is no movement in the room. If you want it off just let her know.

Easy setup & easy use of both items
Echo works as expected and sounds great. We bought the blue too and like it's look more. The smart bulb setup very easily, works nicely and we're still learning about the colors, dimming etc - it's been fun.

Big sound and aesthetic
Great sound from this little speaker. I sometimes find Alexa not responding, so I have to use another Echo dot to send voice commands.

I prefer the 3rd generation
I have a 4th generation in my living room and the 3rd generation in my kitchen. More often than not, when I'm in the living room the kitchen one responds and the living room one detects nothing. Also, the sound is much better (in my opinion) in the 3rd gen.

Decent for the price…
Very easy to install and began using. The sound quality as a speaker is mediocre at best and it’s not great at picking up voice recognition but for the price point it’s fine
