Bought this for an endurance mountain bike ride were the temp was going to be 26° at the start. I started off with it around my neck only for about a mile. It was too cold at speed so I put the entire thing on. What a difference, it kept my head warm while riding fast through woods in a cold over cast day. I could also easily breath with it covering my nose. Did not use the insert that came with it. So happy I bought this. Highly recommend.

Excellent value. More than keeping my face warm, I wanted something that would NOT fog up my glasses. This product does a good (not great) job. There's a metal piece inside the fabric that is to be pressed against the nose and cheek to keep the wearer's breath from rising up and fogging glasses or goggles.The product wasn't perfect. I supplemented it by rubbing an anti-fogging spray on my glasses. That spray could not do the job alone. It also helped to focus on exhaling out of my mouth, more than my nose. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.I wish it came in some color other than black. The color makes me think of terrorists and criminals hiding their identity. I wear it cycling in the cold and WANT to be seen.I took the photo when I was taking a break and wanted some fresh air. Next time I'll take a s hot with the nose cover in place.

This project really helps keep our head warm and it’s reasonably priced. Highly recommended. It is thin material, but somehow really works to trap in the heat.

I received this balaclava through the Amazon Vine Voice program.This is pretty versatile in fit. I have a smaller women's head (22 inch for hat size circumference), and small face. This fits me and you can adjust the nose area to stay in place so it doesn't ride up. It's easy to wash in a lingerie laundry bag and then hang to dry. I am happy with it so far.

I'm on blood thinners. I get bone chilling cold in the winter (northeast). I was out with my family walking around a Christmas light show all night. This kept my nose, neck, face, and head toasty warm! I had the hood from my winter coat over it and I felt so warm! If you get bone chilling cold in the winter, you need this in your life! It's not fashionable, you won't look super stylish, but you will be warm while everyone else who doesn't have one is freezing!

My teen uses it for snowboarding loves it.
