Powersonic PS-12120F2-12 Volt/12 Amp Hour Sealed Lead Acid Battery with F2 Terminals

I have probably purchased well over a dozen of these 12AH batteries from this vendor (Portable Power) over the last couple of years. I use them in an industrial application, as back up power on small radios in outdoor enclosures. They are on float charge all the time. Because I have them in areas where they are exposed to significant temp changes 24/7, I change them annually. I use smaller PowerSonic batteries for other applications and have been very satisfied. Very few failures, and those are usually attributed to questionable charging conditions or just letting the batteries get too old. Good Product / Good Vendor.

Using this as a portable 12v power source. As such, it seems little usage...however, it seems to be well worth the money....rsbhunter

Same as the original batteries and much less expensive than OEM.

The Power Sonic replaced a dead battery on my tennis ball machine and delivers the power I expected.

Good price and good fit in my uninterruptable power supply for my main computer. I expect it to last a couple of years. Been working OK for several months.

Shipping package could have been better. Very little packing material. Battery was not damaged.

I bought this to replace the battery in my 10-year old APC UPS. I charged the new battery, but the UPS reported it had less than a minute of power left. Which means the UPS shuts down immediately upon a power outage, or even a brownout. I reported the problem to the Powersonic vendor, and they immediately sent me another new battery. Same problem. After much research and testing, I determined both batteries were perfectly okay, it was the UPS that was sick. It was (is) reporting erroneous battery data to the PC. I tested both batteries stand-alone (no PC) with a 66% load and they lasted nearly 55 minutes before shutting down. Normally I only run about a 30% load. Turns out this is well-known issue with this particular UPS. So now I just run without the USB connection to the PC. I already had one outage, and the battery worked fine. So I'll be staying with Powersonic, but I'll be looking for a new UPS vendor.

This battery is perfect for my sons ride on fire truck! Stores want $50-$85 for a replacement battery and this is a amazing deal! I had another one of this brand for years before I had to replace it. Amazing price and awesome product.
