Vo5 Conditioning Hairdress Gray/White/Silver 1.5 Ounce Tube (44ml)

I never even thought about trying this, a product from 1955. This shines my gray hair also tames the frizz alot and the smell is so good. It's not greasy, it doesn't weight my hair down and is not sticky. As far as hair heath can't say yet but it says you can also use as a preconditioner so I will try that. After all the looking and buying pricey products that did nothing I'm finally very happy with this product. The price is also a great buy. I say try it I know it's my product now.

Good stuff, neen using it for decades. Keeps my hair from sticking out , helps with static electricity, gives it a shine and is not greasy.

Ive been using this product for years. Its great for blond, grey hair and is not greasy. I will continue to buy it.

V05 has been around forever and there’s a reason why. This is good stuff, I usually use a pea size amount for my shoulder length wavy hair. It’s best if used on the lower half of your hair. It can be greasy if you use too much. The only thing I don’t love is the smell. It’s not offensive and a little finishing spray will cover it up. Unlike a lot of salon products it’s economical and a tube will last for a long time.

I used the regular version of this decades ago and was surprised when it came up in a search for grey hair products. I recalled how unique the results were, light, soft, gleaming hair with no hint of product when I ran my hands through my hair. I decided to try this version and was amazed that my curls could look so fabulous and feel so luscious. The product is easy to apply. I used it instead of hair conditioner on damp hair. It has a faint but sophisticated fragrance. I love the brightening effect on my grey hair. Can't stop admiring it and enjoying it. No more styling, which I did with a variety of products and time consuming methods. Just work in a dab of this and air dry. I can even sleep on my curls and just shake them out in the morning without having to style.

I’ve been using VO5 for years. It is a perfect hair dressing. I put a little in my palm and add a little water to make it easier to apply to my hair. Only a little VO 5 is needed to give a my hair more manageable. It also put a little color and shine to my hair. I use a little mousse to finish my hair styling. A high rating from me.

At the time of this writing, I am 62 years of age. I ceased coloring my hair somewhere around 10 years ago. Prior to my silver, my hair was fine, thick, frizzy and very full. I used a lot of product on it to keep it manageable. I still feel the need to use product on my hair. My silver strands came in softer and the frizz, which plagued me my entire life, gone! I also have less hair. What once used to move as a mass unit ... shifting with the wind and a quick head turn, has now gave way to a soft movement that drops in tendrils around my face. Honestly, I have the hair I always wanted ... just less of it! I bought this product simply because I wanted to accentuate the silver. I was interested in bringing out more shine. Is it shinier than prior to using? I'm honestly not sure but I do like the way my hair over all responds to it. My current hair routine: * Wash hair with a low foaming shampoo, in the shower. Rinse. * Condition hair while combing my fingers through. (This is the only combing my hair gets. I do not use a brush or a comb on my hair. Just my fingers.) Let conditioner stay on while I'm doing my other things in the shower. * Rinse conditioner and apply a very light amount of leave in conditioner. * Add a pearl size drop of Alberto VO5 in the palm of my hand, rub hands together vigorously and then scrunch product into dripping wet, lightly conditioned, hair. * Wrap wet hair in a hair turban and leave on while I finish drying off and getting ready for the day. * Take turban off, add curl cream to my curls by scrunching into hair. * Let hair dry about 60 to 70% and then finger through to fluff. *** About this product ... * It's weird ... not gonna lie. When rubbing it between my palms, it turns tacky ... like it's got grip to it. * The smell is okay. I prefer fragrance free but it's not. the smell is light enough. * Cannot stress enough to use just a bit. Otherwise, hair comes out looking greasy. I use about a pearl or pea size. Overall ... I do like this product. For the price, I am pleased with the results.

I was looking forward to smelling the smell of my grandparents again. Nope. Doesnt smell the same as when they or I used it previously. No longer comes in metal tube (now plastic).
