Casa SanchezChip Tortilla Thick Crispy Gruesos, 14 Ounce

These were entirely disappointing. They tasted like cardboard. Not sure if I got a bad bag, or something, but it seemed sealed like it should be. They were not rancid, so I gave them two stars. They were just tolerable when desperate, with salsa or guacamole. Here in Southern California, other grocery stores have authentic, thick, crunchy chips from the local tortillerias. I have yet to find good tortilla chips at Whole Foods — they’re all made for gringos — but I’ll keep trying . . .

These have a thick and sturdy texture. But they lack salt and have a sweeter taste.

They had like a month prior to expiration date and tasted pretty stale already. Generally like these chips, but check prior to purchase!

I love tortilla chips and can be quite picky, but these were so good I had to come write a review. 10/10 recommend so light and not salty but yet so much flavor. Great crunch too!

Too thick for me. But good for nachos

I love these chips. They are thicker than the usual tortilla chip and actually taste like corn. Just the right amount of salt. I can’t find them anywhere else so I keep coming back (that way I shop for some of my other favorites while I’m here).
