excellent product!
I installed this in my 2004 Acura TL with factory navigation. There are a lot of ipod integration accessories on the market, but i really wanted one that was completely integrated and didn't stick out like a sore thumb on the dash somewhere coming out of the lighter socket. I also wanted digital sound and don't like the FM transmitters or tape adapters. This unit takes control of the XM function of the factory radio without eliminating XM which is nice for anyone that subscribes to XM. I like the fact that it is easy to use, using only the radio controls and that i get display of music on the factory radio. I recognize that the radio I have is the limiting factor in things that I would like (e.g. scrolling of the song name).I gave it four stars for two reasons:1) when going through artists, it's a one click at a time of the knob, not a fast spin through artist to get to the letter S as an example. To circumvent this, plan ahead and make sure you have playlists, they are easier to navigate.2) sometime the display will not show the song artist in the display. pressing the xm button once, will bring it up. this is a minor inconvenience and doesn't ruin the experience. All in all, high quality item so far in the 4 months I've used it and would recommend it. no issues with playback, no dropped songs, no crackle. I also installed the HD tuner as well and it's pretty good too.

Still a good product
The product works well but requires some monkeying around with to get it working perfectly. Grounding on the harnesses seem spotty, so you have to splice in another ground wire to get rid of the alternator whine. I bought this to replace an old one I bought ages ago (back when these where still a new thing).

INCOMPATIBLE WITH iOS4 (requires $30 replacement part)
Be sure to contact Ace Digital Photo to ensure that the unit you're purchasing contains the new PXAMG-IC replacement jumper, which is listed as "Apple® Authentication IC Jumper Replacement for PXAMG & uPAC" on the manufacturer's site. You will not be able to connect any iDevice running iOS4 or later without it.I purchased one of these in May 2010, installed it and was thrilled with the ease-of-use and functionality it provided. The AUX2 input came in handy when the iOS4 update made the unit incompatible with the regular iPOD/AUX1 input. The new authentication IC addresses that issue, but requires an additional $35 purchase ($30 + $5 shipping) from the manufacturer.Ace Digital Photo has been very responsive and understanding during my ordeals with both the iOS4 upgrade and in replacing the defective unit. AAMP/PAC-Audio/iSimple (the manufacturer), on the other hand, required quite a bit of back & forth before I found someone knowledgeable and willing enough to work through the issue.

This Did Not Work with my SiriusXM Receiver
This particular device did not work for me with my SiriusXM receiver. I was replacing a similar audio interface that went defective. When I had this one installed, my radio kept displaying the message 'iPod Not Detected'. I brought it into Best Buy who installed my original equipment and they noticed that the model number of this item (REV 1.7.817B) is different from the one I was trying to replace which was ISHD571. Both appear identical but the new one works only with iPod or similar item. The device looks identical to the one I need, but apparently there is slight nuance with this. There are a few other sellers who offer the version that I need.

Needs improvement ,but works as in description for Murano
First of all i need to confim that this module is working fine with iphone 4.1.I opened the module and make sure that new IC is installed. So dont hesitate to buy if you are worried about ios 4.0 Jumper IC.Sound quality:Is as good as CD .It also depends what is your source. If it is IPOD then it is as good as any other product. If you use online radio on iphone, then sound is good depends on the broadcast.Functionality:It is confusing initially, but i figured out how it is working.i will post video review pretty soon.Dip Switches:i got information for only 2 and 3 numbered Dip Switches.Dont worry about 2 unless you have lag for text vs song being played.Dip switch 2 is for forcing song information to be displayed on radio.Dip switch 3 is to configure switches on radio. For example when ur seek button is used for forwarding songs and folder button for ipod menu, you can revert ths by changing the dip switch 3.By turning ON DS 3,you can use seek button for ipod menu and folder button for forwarding the song.Steering wheel control:The volume works normal regardless the dip switch. If you steering seek button brings ipod menu on radio, then change the current switch on DS3.This will now forward songs.BUt note that the behaviour of seek and folder button will reverse.Random/scan button:Either of this is used for playing songs randomly bytrack,by album,by none and ...Iphone Radio:you can forward songs on Pandora by using seek or steering controls.(depends on DS setting.)Auxilary/Ipod:Auxilary is to control songs on IPhone and ipod is to controls songs on radio. In ipod mode the iphone ipod will be locked.this is normal with any product as i used few products before.Charger:This charges iphone 4 regardless of vehicle in start or Off position. This is really a great feature when time demands.isbt21:I also ordered blue tooth as an addon for this module.you can find my review on products page.the firmware i am using is latest 778b(i guess).

2nd version not as good as my origional
I had another version of this in my car for about 3 years, but it broke, so I had to replace it. I got this one to replace it, but it didn't work with my IPod classic 160. It works fine with all of the flash-based IPods, (minus a little lag in the start-up time), but it would never recognize my HDD IPod classic. I wish I could get an identical replacement for my first one (the one that's actually pictured, not a "square", cheap feeling "runner-up"). That would have been the best solution in my situation.
