The first bag I opened was a little over baked but the taste was still great.

As good as homemade. Fairly expensive but i didn't have to do any of the work so worth it to me.

I read the reviews before I purchased and thought they were helpful, so I decided to put in my 2 cents worth. I am a cheese straw snob! I make my own, I buys them every where I find a new one I haven’t tried before. Currently in my home I have 4 different brands and my own homemade ones. These include, the Fresh Market, Dewey’s, Mississippi Cheese Straw, and a brand from Target. I prefer the traditional cheddar cheese vs the flavored types. I found a brand I really liked a few years back, but my husband threw out the box. Over Christmas, I purchased 2 different brands from a local store and one was superior to the other...it was the one I had been searching for! So I went to buy it and once again my husband had thrown away the box! Lol. So off I went to order the last 2 that I had purchased. I ordered directly from Dewey’s in Winston Salem and those were good, but not the ones. Then I ordered the Mississippi Cheese Straws brand on Amazon because of the free shipping, and this was the Brand! Here is what I love about these...they are a bit wider than the usual ones, they are crunchy and flaky, and they have the perfect blend of cheese and spice. So I love these.Now on to this bulk purchase of these cheese straws! They are the best and a great value for your dollar. They arrived within a couple of days. They are fresh! There are 4 bags of the delicious cheese straws! I just ordered another bulk, because my teenage daughter had friends over and they devoured these! We all have different tastes, but for me and my family, the Mississippi Cheese Straws are the best and thanks for offering this as an option!!!

I needed cheese straws for a large shower I was hosting. I have made my own for years and in the process of making some, my electric cookie press gave up the ghost. I needed cheese straws quickly so I ordered these based on the good reviews. I cannot express how disappointed I was. Even my husband (who will eat anything) would not eat them after tasting. They were not well received at the shower either. I must share that I know my cheese straws. I'm a Mississippi gal who has eaten them made by many people. These were nothing like any cheese straws I've ever eaten in my 66 years. I don't know if I just received a bad batch, but we spent $60.00 for two boxes of these so that we would have plenty for the shower and plenty left over. Now they are going in the trash. I'm so disappointed that I wasted that money and these were not a refundable item. It's time to shop for a new cookie press so I can make my own again!

Very bland tasting

I order these cheese straws often and have never been disappointed until now. Instead of the large bag, they sent small bags, and they tasted terrible. No cheddar flavor at all. I don’t even know how to describe them except they tasted terrible awful.

This brand is one of the best I have ever tasted and I will order them again! Great quality product!
