This blanket is extremely soft and cool to the touch. We bought this to keep our large, elderly, black labrador mix a soft personal space to keep him cool during the hot Texas summer months. We felt terrible that he was laying down on the cold stuff hardwood floor. He is much more comfortable and at ease when we lay this cooling blanket on top of his dog bed. His bed is great but the bed cover is a fluffy, hot material.best suited for the winter. This cooling blanket does the trick! We like it so much that we got a smaller one for our cats!

Nice cooling blanket

An absolute essential for any double-coated dog. My Belgian Tervuren (look it up--they have lots of fur) runs hotter at night, even though I keep my house quite cool. Sometimes she'd wake up panting after running outside for a bit. Basically, in an Arizona summer, I'll have to be very careful with her! As a preemptive strike, I ordered this blanket. First off, it's SO SOFT. The material is thin, but great quality--and instantly cool to the touch. I admired it for a minute before slipping it inside her crate, and my puppy was interested, then obsessed. She normally sleeps at my feet when I watch TV, but tonight, she's across the room, sprawled on this blanket inside her crate. Slam dunk--best purchase!!

The blanket is only moderately cooler than the air temp but the dog seems to like it. We ordered a bigger size than we needed, so I would recommend going with a smaller size if you’re on the fence. The blanket is very smooth and soft. Our dog also tends to chew on towels but does not chew on this blanket.

It works!!! I was skeptical if this really cooled, it did! I have a Bernese and they get HOT so I needed something to help cool him. It’s soft, looks good and I’d like one for myself. It isn’t crazy thick but it doesn’t need to be. I got the large 40x50 which works great. The price was great too. I definitely recommend you his it a try.

Highly recommend! I’d say go for the XL. I got the the L. I’m very happy with it, the quality is great I have a small Chihuahua/Shitzu Tzu so the size is perfect because I like giving her more fluffiness. If you have a lab or medium sized dog I’d say get the XL and spend the couple extra $$! Very soft material! If you’re someone who travels and has a teacup sized dog then a medium or small may be just fine.

BEST PURCHASE EVER! I hate most cooling mats - they don’t get very cold, and they are large/hard/immobile.. they suck. This mat FIXES ALL OF THAT. Not only is it pretty cold (without wetting it at all! just needs the dog (or human!) to sit on it), but it’s super soft, washable, and portable!! It’s soft as a normal blanket honestly, and folds right up to fit in my backpack/carryon. It’s also a double win because I use it for myself too! When I’m too hot on an airplane, or camping without AC, we both lay in it and it’s amazing!! Definitely worth the price, honestly price is cheap for what you get 🙌🏼
