From a photo or a scanned image of your childrens drawing I can create personalized, custom embroidery textile art. This is a wonderful keepsake gift of your kids art. I will accurately reproduce your kids drawing on to 100% cotton using free-motion machine embroidery. Alongside this, I will embellish their drawing with applique techniques should the drawing lend itself to this. I will choose fabrics of the appropriate shades to create blocks to colour and interest, drawing the eye to the artwork and giving it a new dimension, to complement and enhance the child's original drawing. This is an obvious choice where the child has coloured in sections of their drawing or in simple line drawings works well if used sparingly to highlight key areas. Should you wish to combine elements from 2 or more drawings, I am happy to do this, for example adding a handwritten name from one piece of paper onto a second drawing I will block and stretch the fabric before mounting it in cream card and framing it in a 10 x 8 inch frame. The actual size of the image is 19.5cm x 14.5 cm.
