Veronese DesignHand Painted Steampunk Submarine Sci-fi Fantasy Statue

I purchased this item for myself as a decorative item for my living room table. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the submarine. The detail is well done and I love the overall design. It is exactly as pictured and of very good quality. I would highly recommend this item.

Lovely piece! It matches one of my wall arts perfectly and adds a "break" between my couch and chair. The box it came in was securely packed with thick styrofoam. Thought it would be a tad bigger/taller but it looks great anyhow.

I put this on a console table. Pretty cool piece. I get compliments all the time. It's not cumbersome, but big enough to see the detail.

This little steampunk submarine adds another touch of personality that my wife is enthusiastically creating in our home. As you can see, Halloween decor is already up because hello, it’s September 1st. And the steampunk additions seem to dance well with the dark touches of the season, and then add some whimsical flare during the rest of the year. It’s a fun little piece. She’s dragging her feet on naming the little skull in the porthole.

Looks better if not looking at the skull side. Bizarre choice for steam punk. Turn the fish the other way and looks great. Super detailed!

If you are into "steampunk" sculpture, first used in the movies to gain worldwide attention. "Dark City" "Blade Runner" and the "Alien series" would be several good examples, then this is for you. A little on the expensive side especially since it is made in China by a company called Veronese but they look good and are quite heavy for their size. They are very detailed and appear to be well crafted. They appear to be all metal but are actually a combination of metal powders and resins. Faded colors are a hallmark of steam punk and this fishy submarine creature has some good examples. My only complaint is the manufacturer doesn't allow any price variation, as all examples I have seen are the exact same price or more, but never less. They also should be larger, with the largest examples only 10".and the smallest at 5 1/2". Apparently a respected maker of conventional statuary this Steampunk line must be a diversion for the manufacturer.

Bought this as a centerpiece for a flower arrangement for my wife’s birthday. It is a very detailed piece and she loved it.

It's pricey, but a very solid, well built piece. Good quality.
