Bright copper red
I have auburn red hair (color treated) . When applying it to my light colored roots, it was almost orange looking. The packaging is great for travel, and the brush deposits the color right where you want it without a messy spray as in aerosols. This is a great idea, but the color did not match.

DON'T TIP THE BOTTLE!!!
The bottle comes with a sticker on the side that has to be removed before the cap can be removed. It reads "Do not tip until directly over hair/scalp".I didn't heed the warning sticker! They aren't kidding! The powder pours out instantly.I haven't used it for the dry shampoo properties yet, just got the package and was wondering what the product felt like and the scent. I tipped it and had a hand full of powder before I knew it!The color of the powder is a rusty red, no obvious scent, has a texture of a high quality mineral makeup powder.I did apply some of the spilt powder to my hair line and was pleased with the fact it did match my hair color (rust with gold blonde and strawberry blonde highlights) but it does rust leave a colored residue on the scalp. I found just rubbing my scalp a bit with my finger tips.....worked the rust color off my scalp and it wasn't as noticeable.I applied what I had spilled into my hand with a mineral makeup brush and will probably continue to do so because it gave me control over the powder the applicator brush doesn't offer. The brush comes off (screw top) so you can reloaded the applicator. The applicator brush is more like a Kabuki brush and hard to control once over the scalp. My hair was washed this morning so I can't say much about how effective the powder is as a "dry shampoo" but it did add some texture and helped control some of the static at the ends.Over all I think I am going to fall in love with this product, I just won't be tipping it!

If you have red hair then you need it
I have spent a ridiculous amount of money and time searching for the right dry shampoo. The fact that I have red hair makes it incredibly difficult. And of course the health of my hair is very important to me! It was a little costly, but I really don't mind spending a little extra for something that's worth it. And this is worth it! It feels awesome on my hair, and I love how it offers some root coverup! It also comes with refill so you're not constantly buying a container and then throwing that container away to go in a landfill. I barely have to use any, and it makes my hair look great, and it smells super nice, almost fruity. My boyfriend really enjoys the smell. So that's an interesting plus

Pretty Awesome
I am new to not washing my hair, PLUS I also BRIGHTEN my hair (aka I add hair dye to my shampoo). This stuff is pretty amazing for me. The key people is to put the applicator upside down at the back of your hair (or underneath) and then brush it through / then use the residual for the front parts of your hair. I have actually found that I have to BRIGHTEN my hair less often now and therefore my hair is healthier. I mean yes, if you dump the powder on your bags it looks crazy, and YES if you scratch at your head you are gonna get some crap under your nails, but honestly, I found very little adjustment time after reading reviews to simply "be careful with the deployment of the powder" and "try not to touch the affected areas". It has actually helped me bunches!

Works well, but a couple issues
This product works very well for absorbing oil in your hair and keeping hair looking clean days after washing. With that said, it is very messy to use. Even just taking the lid off usually leaves me with red-brown powder all over me and my vanity, and then pushing the brush guard down just results in more. It's not difficult to clean up, I'd just be worried that if I missed some it might stain. This is a slightly more personal issue, but I absolutely hate the smell of this product. It's really hard to describe, it's not super sweet which is usually what bothers me in scents, but it's just very perfume-y and I really don't care for it at all. I would be able to overlook the messiness and use this product much more frequently if it weren't for the smell, and I definitely wouldn't purchase again. But that's definitely a personal preference, I'm sure many others will find the smell fine if not pleasant.

Best dry shampoo for redheads
This is the absolute best dry shampoo for red hair! I have been using dry shampoo for years and have tried them all. This one does a great job cleaning up oily roots but still manges to keep my hair shiny rather than looking like talcum power spilled on my head. It is also good for adding volume to your hair, and all you have to do to pump it back up later in the day is agitate it a little with your fingers. The color is the only that I have found to blend well with a variety of red hues. The only downside is that you have to be careful not to get it on your forehead or clothes, but that's to be expected with colored dry shampoo. Oh and it lasts forever, so actually makes it pretty cheap compared to how fast I would go through aerosols.

Love this stuff!
There's a bit of a learning curve to using this, but I love it. It can be a bit messy and you have to check for brown spots on your face after applying, as well as your shoulders. I don't recommend applying it while wearing a nice shirt. But the effects last a long time. I've been "training my hair" to go longer between washes to maintain my faux red. I can get an extra 2 days after applying this once. It looks a bit dull at first but that goes away. I haven't found a dry shampoo spray that I liked, much less one that blends in and lasts a long time. Good job, Ambiance.Side note: I use Manic Panic "Vampire Red" on unbleached hair. While this powder is a bit orangish, I'm able to blend it until it's not obvious.

Awesome
This dry shampoo is awesome! Covers grays in between coloring and I can go longer without washing my hair which keeps my red longer. The red color matches my color perfectly. Will be buying a backup.
