Provel Cheese Snack Sticks, 0.83 Ounce (Pack of 48)

Never had it before, but I saw it on the food channel during a St. Louis special and it seemed like it could be delicious in empanadas. I have to say that it is delicious.

Wonderful cheese, but overnight shipping in an ice-pack was absurdly excessive and drives up the cost unnecessarily. I'll reuse it for something else, but I'd like the option to forego this unnecessary hypershipping at a lower cost. Cheese, like IPA, was practically invented as a way to preserve milk centuries before refrigeration existed for long journeys. This cheese could be stored at room temperature for months, and its smoky flavor comes out more when it's room-temp anyway. Melted on a pizza it's absolute heaven.
