DSD TECH SH-U08A USB to RS422 RS485 Adapter with CH340E Chip for Windows 10,8,7

Product was easy to installed on my windows 10 pc. Used it to connect to my LED sign. Works great!

This serial adapter from DSD tech comes in handy for projects that I have come up every now and then. The serial adapter uses the Ch340 chipset so you need to have the necessary driver installed in order for your system to recognize the device when you connect it to your USB port. If you've worked with this chipset before then you don't need to do anything and the device will be recognized. Otherwise, a CD is included with the drivers. Well made, works as intended.

RS422 is working reliably up to 19200 BAUD but not above that. Another brand of adapter seems to be working better at those higher speeds.Otherwise a cheap, basic, plug-and-play product that works as advertised.

Very easy to get up and running with this adapter. Windows 10 automatically installed the driver for the CH340 chip, but it's good to see that a driver CD is included if you need it. I like that the adapter has power/RX/TX lights, as they can be very helpful for basic troubleshooting. The clear plastic casing is a snap-together design and can be removed without much difficulty. There's not much else to say. As long as your application can work over a regular COM port and doesn't look for a specific chip, this adapter should do the job.

Works well in RS485 mode. I like the TX/RX indicator lights as well as the easy to use screw terminal header.

The device worked for RS485 but not for my particular application. Probably a license issue with my protocol.

Excellent quality converter based on CH340E chip with well designed circuit. RS485/422 operates under 3.3V but compatible with 5V systems. Separate power regulators for USB domain and 485 domain. USB side is polyfuse protected and each signal line is protected with polyfuse and TVS diodes. Used in production and never encountered issues.

Finalmente un convertitore USB/RS485 che funziona. Ne ho provati a bizzeffe. Alcuni non si connettono, altri sono instabili, altri ancora sono lenti (ritardo di 1,6 mS fra i pacchetti di dati). Questo è veloce (ritardo max 0.4 mS), stabile e affidabile. Non l'ho provato in RS422, ma se il buongiorno si vede dal mattino i presupposti ci sono. Brava DSD TECH.

Funciona perfectamente

Wenn man erst einmal die richtige Belegung herausgefunden hat funktioniert der Adapter.Einziger Wehrmutstropfen. Es wird kein passender Treiber mitgeliefert. Das heist etwas mühsehlige Suche im Internet. Es ist aber möglich einen zu finden. Anschluss für RS 485 1 weis/orange 2 orange 3 weis/grün 4 grün 5 freiBei der Verwendung mit der Software "Mygreen Solar" benötigt Ihr das Passwort "mpptsolar"Die Software findet Ihr ebenfals im Internet.Die Daten übertragung ist allerdings nicht sehr schnell. Wenn sich der Adapter nicht sofort Verbindet wartet einfach etwa eine halbe Minute. Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen.
