Charmian Women's Satin Underbust Waist Training Cincher Steel Boned Corset

This is an UNDER-bust style corset. Ordered the Medium based on Waist Measurements. Very important to understand corsets are sized by waist circumference. Do not buy a corset on the measurement you want to achieve. Buy a corset of your honest & true physical measurement.The fabric is tagged as 90-percent Polyester, 10-percent Spandix. It is a substantial & smooth feeling fabric. The busk is rigid with metal hook & eye "slide & lock" closures. This style of closure ensures a secure closing.Back lacings are sturdy "old fashioned" flat, woven cord with waxed ends. Lacing eyes are metal with a supple modesty panel; no snagging points I've noticed. The corset was pre-laced in the classic top-down, center draw loop pattern. Much easier to adjust the corset to one's body shape.I'm 5-foot 2-inch tall with a long torso, age 55-plus, womanly figured. This corset fits from under-bust to just above hip bones over my pear-shaped body. Adjusting & wearing the first and second days, I put no tension on the corset; keeping it loosely laced for stability & the feeling of a gentle hug. The third day I put very modest tension to it for a few hours, letting it out to just to the feeling of a gentle hug again.This is how I was taught to wear a corset. Allowing the fabric & boning to slowly mold to the body lessens the chance of broken busks, catapulting closures, and sprung stays. Why did I mention "Quiet" in the title? This corset doesn't sound like an old poorly kept saddle creaking & groaning under the weight of a rider... That's why it's so important to buy the proper size and allow it time to fit your form.

It's a corset and the review creator wants to know how it fits... Lol. First, it is better than I expected since the first review says it is cheap and fake. I know you only get what you pay for, but I'd say I got more considering how much I spent on the last one that wound up curling at the bottom. It is satin so just be careful with rings that have a tendency of getting stuck and pulling. The clasp in front is a bit hard and not your usual corset closure, but after operating it only twice I am getting better at it already. It would be nice if the shipper had sent some lacing instructions. I for one googled self lacing, but I recommend having a second person as I find the first method a royal pain in the ass.

Seems like really good quality. The only problem is that their sizing chart seems a bit off. I have a 27" waist and I bought a medium per the sizing chart, it was way too small, try as I may to make it fit-couldn't get it on. I will return it for a large!

I love it. It pull my tummy in and my clothes look better. I had to put two notches in the back at the bottom just to get it to fit a bit more snug. Other than that it's good.

Fit me perfectly and amazing shipping was awesome wore it 2 days and it busted at the buckle. Very upset because this is my 3rd one in a month I loved them and still do just a horrible situation tho.

It came faster than I expected I love it but is not what the picture looks like I thought it cover your hips as well your upper back

It was a good fit. But you cant really wear a bra with it or it pushes your boobs to your chin. Im only a b cup

I ordered this corset thinking how cheap the material would be considering the price, but I gotta say how surprise I was at the quality. The picture you see when ordering looks nothing like real thing. I'm very impressed and I would recommend it to anyone. I chose a size smaller for me because I'm waist training and it fit as expected. Totally Love my corset!!!! Definitely a must get!!!

Leider ist das Korsett nicht für Figurformung etc. geeignet, da es sich zwar vielleicht um Metallstäbchen handelt, diese aber bis auf die zwei beim Verschluss total weich sind und sich eher wie Plastik anfühlen.Die Form des Korsetts selbst ist auch nicht, wie auf der Abbildung, alles ist viel gerader,nicht so spitz zulaufend, wie am bild.muss leider zurück

This does have actual steel boning and decent laces, not ribbons and is the sturdiest cheap corset I've ever come across - this does merit the term corset rather than just basque or corset-style top. The finish is fine - in particular the binding at the edges lies right and doesn't itch like some of the ruched ruffled ones.The sides are much much straighter than the image shows, but not as straight as I've seen or on any of the other budget corsets I've tried on and if I had gone for a smaller size perhaps the waist would have narrowed as in the image. My waist is just under 30 inches and this fit exactly when fully tightened - I could get it on (just, with help) without undoing the laces on their tightest setting - so won't work for waist training 29-30 inch waists (unless perhaps the wearer has a 39 inch ribcage or a bit more belly under their waist than I), but looks good and gives postural correction now, and will work very well if I gain weight/waistline.I'm seriously considering trying another in the next size down but definitely keeping this as it looks great but I could eat and breathe in it.

I've been sent out a replacement with no issues this time fits great and no problems with the laces..Ive had to add to this the lining from the front holding the panel in is now starting to show so i have white lines on the hook side.This is a lovely corset, this turned up as expected on time with no problem. Main issues with this are the cord at the back is very thin and came fraid... and very disappointed with the shaping side. This does not pull in your waist as much as other corsets... the stich quality is very nice nice and the boning is very sturdy maybe use this for going out for the shape but not waist training.

Prompt delivery, well packaged. The corset is amazing, proper steel bones so it doesn't dig into your hips like acrylic boned corsets do! This is my first underbust corset, and thanks to this I will never wear an overbust corset again! If you're top heavy, underbust corsets will fit so much better and suit your body type so much more. It's comfortable, even when laced up really tight. It does force you to sit upright, though that'll do your posture wonders if you suffer back pain. Since I got the corset about a month and a half ago, I've gone down a lot in size (not sure if due to corset or moving about more) so it now laces up fully at the back, so I'll have to be ordering another one. Which I'm confident I'll be ordering this one again.
