These are the Pros, and the reasons for my current 5 star rating:This is a striking and beautifully designed, quality stainless steel Essential Oil Diffuser necklace, & I love the size of this locket. It is approximately the size of a quarter, much larger than others I've seen on Amazon. I immediately picked up on the "All Seeing Eye" vibe, and really appreciate the effectiveness of the vents, as much as the beauty of the design itself. Elegant and efficient.A comfortable faux leather 24" rope is included with the pendant, and it has an easy to open lobster claw clasp, with an additional chain extension linked immediately after the black cord part ends (see photos). I can open the lobster claw with minimal effort, helpful information for those who have limited dexterity.in their hands/fingers.I can't imagine anyone needing the additional chain length for a larger neck size, so I am assuming the intended purpose was to allow one to hang the Diffuser pendant/locket lower on the chest. Some folks have wanted to know if it came in a longer length, so a "one chain fits all solution" isn't going to suit everyone, right?Personally, I would have preferred to have the option to make it a shorter choker style, but I can't do this because of the way the silver-colored caps are fitted on both of the ends. It can't be shortened at all, much less to a choker length style. Easily solved by switching out to other types of chains with various lengths, so I knew I was going to keep it as soon as I saw it. This is the only chain I own that will slip over my head easily, both on and off, without catching my fine-textured hair, so another plus!The scent of essential oils are especially enhanced the longer the locket is worn against your bare skin, especially noticeable when it is above the clothing neckline, i.e."V-neck" styles. The longer I did so, the more I noticed the fragrance and that's awesome!I mention the following as part of my usual extended review process:This additional extension is quite nice for those who prefer it to be longer, but the metal links dangle several inches past the shortest available link when worn this way, and this resulted in a tickling sensation on the back of my neck, which was irritating for me. I solved the tickling sensation by simply cutting off the excess chain links with my wire-cutter pliers left over from making my own jewelry in the past, so this was an easy fix most anyone could do for themselves. I was a bit disappointed though because it looked really pretty with the dangling chain, however, most folks will not feel the need to do this to theirs.My neck is hyper-sensitive to touch except when I'm wearing a turtleneck or a blouse with a collar. Living in California, that doesn't happen for me until Winter. It most likely wouldn't be a concern for anyone else, in my opinion.Personally, I much prefer the rope/cord style necklace compared to metal chains because my hair is long, and tends to get tangled up with metal chains. It hurts when my hair rips off in an effort to remove the tangle, and I end up not wearing it, or switching to another cord style. Having the cord style is a definite plus for me! Happily, I don't have to unclasp this necklace because it easily slides over my head, and I have a very large hat size, so this is going to fit for 99% of male and/or female heads. I already have other rope necklaces that I can use with this Diffuser Pendant to accomplish the choker style. It would be quite lovely with a silver chain also, if you prefer. Oh, and for those interested in various types of thicker, shorter, longer, or whatever necklaces to personalize this further, the "bale" on this specific locket..the part to run a chain or whatever through...is 3mm.I especially like the included washable pads that fit neatly inside the Pendant Diffuser. There are 3 pads included, but I initially only saw one in the small bag. The black color pads definitely compliments the dramatic "Eye of Knowledge" design, and having seen it, I now prefer black over all other colored pads. Good choice here!Another advantage to the black felt pads is that they won't become discolored over time should I use a resin oil, which I will store in its own zip-lock bag separate from the thinner essential oils.Please Note: I now understand why some reviewers thought they received less than 3 pads in the package. Only one black pad was visible in the small, clear vinyl zip-lock bag that holds the locket/pendant and rope chain along with a small instruction card to indicate how to use it. You will have to open the pendant before you will find the other two pads, and apparently mine were stuck together, but were easily separated using just my thumbnails.Once opened, that is how I discovered the other pads were inside the locket. I removed it to compare it with the one in that came inside the little bag. Definitely could see that one appeared to be thicker than the other, and logically, this meant that the other "missing" two pads were stuck to one another. Using only my thumbnails, I gently peeled them apart and added the second one to the small bag, preferring to experiment with just one to test how well this worked. I then added 6 drops of my Lavender E.O., and closed it. Lovely! So enjoying this now.These pads are each thick enough to hold the essential oil fragrance (so far it has been going strong for 48 hours!) using just 6 drops of high quality, therapeutic Lavender Essential Oil to test it. Very, very nice! I'm loving this more and more!*UPDATED 10-5-17 A few days after enjoying the lavender scent, I re-opened it and added 3 drops of organic clove EO to the same pad. OMG!! Love, love the combination of these two scents, and it continues to remain perfectly balanced in aroma a week later. I've never been able to get so much mileage out of my oils before using this beautifully functional personal Diffuser Necklace. The pads are outstanding, and I wish I knew what they are made of, (felt?) because I have to give the pads another TEN Granny Gems all by itself. Seriously, folks...don't put your expensive high quality organic essential oils on any thing else. These pads are top grade and make a huge difference in how long my favorite oils last. Even if you use these for a different necklace, I know you will absolutely love the difference these pads make.The quality of your oils will determine how long the scent will last for you. If it is cut with carrier oils, the scent will not last more than an hour or two, and some disappear within 45 minutes. It isn't the fault of this pendant or becoming desensitized to it. It is most liked the grade quality of the Essential Oil (EO) being used. You do tend to get what you pay for when it comes to quality oils, especially if it a rarer oil. But don't make the common mistake in thinking that because it costs 3 times more that it must be worth it. That isn't a guarantee. There are lots of wonderful pure essential oils available for $10 or less. If you are new to using essential oils for aromatherapy, start out with the more common ones like orange, lemon, most any citrus scents. Since they're not expensive to process and readily available, these are wonderful for the budget minded (Yes, that would be me!). That's just being a smart shopper. Have fun with them!That said, I'm sure it would be enjoyably pleasant to wear this pendant, even if you used it for your favorite perfume, or ordinary vanilla extract from your kitchen. The fragrance won't last as long, since most of the grocery store extracts are made with alcohol, it will evaporate much quicker than genuine therapeutic essential oils that have been steam distilled to collect the oils.Most EO should not be taken internally as they are hundreds of times, if not thousands, more concentrated than the actual plant and/or fruit we eat. Please consult a certified therapeutic practitioner experienced with essential oils to advise you of the correct dosage if you are interested in that. Too much of a good thing can be harmful or even toxic to those without the required knowledge. Most are benign, but if you take prescribed medications, consult your physician to ensure there aren't interactions before you ingest them for ANY reason.There are quite a few available beginner books on how to use essential oils in aromatherapy. All quite useful and available on Amazon.Please Note: Those of you who have excellent vision, just skip the next part of my review. In order to help my fellow seniors with less than perfect eyesight, I am including details on how to locate this trigger spot to make this discovery process simpler...Getting older ain't for wimps. Vision blurs, fingers get stiff, and the simplest of tasks can feel impossible sometimes. If this is you, perhaps these hints will help you locate the spot to open it:Carefully note the position of the "eye" on the front side, and the three letters engraved on the pendant's opposite side to help determine where you will need to firmly press to open it.The 3 letters engraved on the back side of this locket are "FLL", which I'm (again) assuming stands for Fine Line Living, but not positive, as my 70 year old eyesight is not the best!First, look at the letters side, and note the "F" position. It is near the top line of that "F" letter. Then, flip it over and look at the "eye" side. You want to start at the side where the eye does NOT have the appearance of a downward sweeping motion. Sort of looks like a drawn on eyeliner to me (but it's actually carved), which gives it an Egyptian Mystic feeling. You will want the side of the eye that doesn't have that.Once you identify it, you can confirm it by comparing how closely it is aligned with the "F" letter side. If it looks like it is closer to the L letters, you aren't going to find it. Try it again. Flip it over on the edge until you see them both aligned as I have described. If this proves excessively difficult for you to open, please contact them and describe the difficulty you may be having, and someone will respond to assist you. The way to contact them is also included on the instruction card included in the vinyl zip-lock bag. You just can't beat their customer service!In conclusion: I'm truly delighted and very pleased with the appearance and functionality now. I've adjusted my review at least six times since I first received it, because frankly, the pendant just keeps getting better and better!I frequently revise my reviews (up or down) as my first impressions evolve with additional experience with all products I buy. I LOVE that this has a strong magnetic closure. I bought this for our son and turned around and bought a different style for myself. A HUGE plus of this design is..you can open it and press your finger on the pad to dab the oil under your nose. We have anexity and this has been a lifesaver for both of us! The cord on this is also really amazing and well made too!! Honestly. ..A WIN~Win!

'The Eye of Knowledge' or Horus the God, as it is known....is a great looking metal piece on this necklace. I would still wear it even if it did not smell fragrant. However, It does smell great !! As we can put on whichever essential oil we're in the mood for that week. You would need multiple pads in ti, if you wanted to have it different every day....as they would still linger. But using a mixture of oils works perfectly too. I love smelling it and it's much cheaper than colognes too. Thank you.!

Love the pendant and that the necklace is leather but the clasp part broke off completely from the leather. It's a great pendant for essential oils though. Loved sniffing at it throughout the day.

Bought this for my boyfriend. He loved my necklace so much, I surprised him with this one. He loved it. It was the only one I could find that would look good on a man. Women could wear this too or kids. You can smell the oils that are inside without putting it up to your nose. That's a huge plus!!
