Vintage Charm Memory Lane 6 Piece Mixing Bowl Set, Teal/Pink/Green

These bowls are adorable! I hope they keep making designs like this. I do have a few worries, but for the price they can be overlooked: 1) The bowls seem a little thin. I wouldn't be surprised if they broke very easily. 2) I'm not confident that the design will hold up through multiple washings. I wouldn't recommend putting it through a hot dishwasher cycle or anything. This seems to me like a set you use for more decorative, light-use purposes, like displaying fruit, for example. 3) They are quite a bit smaller than I expected. The smallest one is about the size of a cereal bowl, to give you an idea. They're definitely not large enough to be mixing bowls. So, if you go in with the right expectations, that is to value these bowls based on their cuteness and not necessarily their usefulness, I would recommend them.

These may not be the quality of the old vintage Pyrex mixing bowls but I like them a lot for what they are. The pattern is beautifully done. I've got Birds of a Feather.The bowls have a nice, comfortable weight and they clean up nicely. I admit that I'm very careful with these because I know anything new made by "Pyrex" after the 1990s is not going to hold up to the standards of the old Pyrex.This set has a lid for each bowl. They fit nicely and are just snug enough that I'd feel comfortable storing things overnight in the refrigerator. Any longer and I'd probably put a layer of Saran Wrap under the lid.These bowls nest inside each other with the lids off.I'm very happy with my purchase. May be because I wasn't expecting old Pyrex bowls. I was expecting basically what I got. But they're actually better than anticipated!! That's always nice!

UPDATE: Several months later, I've bought another set (without lids this time) because I use these bowls constantly!I've had my bowls for about a month now, and I'm really delighted with them. One reviewer had mentioned that these bowls are thinner and smaller than they expected. I agree—but this has made them very user-friendly to me. Being a senior with weak, arthritic hands, I find many kitchen items too heavy and bulky to handle easily or hand-wash. These bowls are easily handleable, and I find myself using them constantly and hand-washing them so they're always available to me.One reviewer mentioned that their bowls didn't come with lids; at first I thought I hadn't received lids, either, but they were at the very bottom of the cute round box the bowls came in, under the last divider. Whew!The bowls are very useful sizes for my needs, very attractive, and I'm 100% delighted with this purchase.

HMMMM! I am a collector of vintage Pyrex. I was so excited when I thought that Pyrex was once again creating beautiful collectible patterns on glass bowls. The lids were an added bonus. Upon receipt, I was very impressed with how well they were custom packed to prevent breaking. The bowls are cute and would definitely be usable and would brighten up any kitchen. They appear to be made of good quality glass. However, they are not Pyrex! They are inspired by Pyrex! I was disappointed that they weren't really Pyrex. Many probably think that a name brand isn't that important, but in glass bowls Pyrex is the reigning queen of bowls. I have Pyrex bowls from the 50's that still look beautiful and new, even after many years of use. I felt that the advertising was a little misleading, because I was expecting new PYREX bowls. I gave them to my daughter for Christmas. She thought they were terrific. She didn't care who made them. They definitely have "vintage charm" even if they are not Pyrex!

I'm so disappointed! I ordered two sets and one of the sets middle size bowl arrived shattered, literally shattered!The package was just thrown in a box with no bubble wrap or cushioning at all!I decided to keep the other two in the set because returning is a hassle, having to take it to the ups store. Plus the broken set had the lids, whereas the other set I ordered did not come with lids.I'm very frustrated!!!All that aside, in case anyone is wondering, the bowls are very cute. They're much smaller than my previous set of three bowls, and the design is basically a decal, so I wouldn't put them in the dishwasher or oven if you want them to stay nice.The "tickled pink" set is not even close to pink, more like a reddish orange, which is what I was hoping. The yellow bowL is sunny yellow. They're very cute. Just so bummed out that I received only two thirds of my order! The other third is chunks of glass in the trash! Amazon should really take more care in packaging.

I got these bowls because they are similar to vintage Pyrex bowls. These are adorable; however if you expect them to be like the Pyrex bowls, you will not get what you wish for. These are not made by Pyrex; so the title here is misleading. They are "inspired by Pyrex." I got the bowls without the lids and really like the size and how cute they are. I do not use them in the microwave or to store food. I find them ideal for serving, and they make a cheerful presentation. If you like the color and don't expect Pyrex, these are a fun way to brighten the table.

My husband got these for me for Christmas. I LOVE them! Vintage Pyrex keeps getting more expensive, and harder to find a bowl that still has a lid, etc. These are cute, and great sizes. We've been trying to convert to non-plastic food storage & these bowls are helping out a lot with that! the only reason I'm not giving these 5 stars is because the lids can be pretty tough to get off. So if you're thinking about getting these for an older person, grandparent, or anyone with arthritis in the hands maybe think again! Overall, these are awesome bowls!

If you're looking for some bowls that remind you of the old style Pyrex bowls, these are hard to beat. The lids are not as nice as the Pyrex lids and the bowls are not oven safe like Pyrex, but they are great for mixing, storing, microwaving, and serving food. I have been putting mine on the top rack of the dishwasher to minimize wear and tear on the design and hand washing my lids. (My lids are usually not dirty and I find it just easier to wash them quickly rather than take up space in the dishwasher.)

Cute and functional - just as lovely as the vintage versions!

Son tal como se muestra en la foto. Son de muy buena calidad, muy buen tamaño, pesados y fuertes. Vienen muy bien empacados en una caja de cartón grueso redonda que está genial pues te permite guardarlos siempre y estarán bien protegidos ya que trae unos empaques de cartón igualmente entre cada uno y así no se golpean. Muy contenta con mi compra

Los tamaños son perfectos para mezclar y guardar ya que las tapas cierran herméticamente. El material es grueso y resistente. El diseño muy lindo y además vienen en una caja hermosa que puedes usar para guardar otras cosas. Muy feliz con mi compra :)

Pésimos productos llegaron rotos y si son para usarlos en el horno muy frágiles además de que la devolución es rápida pero para que te reembolsen es un problema espero no tener Que pasar por esto nuevamente
