Time Out Shortlist Gotham and Metropolis: (Superman vs Batman edition)

Great little companion book to give you additional information and background setting to the film's world building. It reads like a legitimate city guide, restaurants, places of interest, with details about everything. If you have a really keen eye, you can also pick up additional information about events that have happened that give even more insight into the heroes' experiences in their cities particularly with Batman given his veteran status in Gotham. One side is Metropolis, flip is over and the other side covers Gotham. It takes the idea of telling these stories in a real world setting to another level.

This is a really great book or books rather it is basically a book on Gotham City and Metropolis put together as one book not 2 separate books it is very very small but contains loads of information from restaurants jazz clubs entertainment sightseeing places to visit and even Easter eggs to the dceu thires even a mention of big belly berger if u watch the flash you will know what that isbut aside from that if ur a fan of the DCEU or a fan of books that make you feel apart of the universe then this book is worth getting 10 out of 10

Please NOTE.... This is ONE book. The two cities are presented back to back and upside down.Overall, still a cool "Guide" to the to imaginary cities..... Makes the areas come alive. Good for fans of the movie (not the best superhero movie but better than most critics' overall reviews) and/or Batman and Superman in general.

This is amazing!!! I actually liked the film, yes it had its flaws but it still was pretty good in my opinion, but this is pretty cool because it gives fans a little insight on Metropolis and Gotham that the movie didn't have time to go over. If your a fan of the universe that Snyder created, you will definitely love this.

This is a great little piece of collector's memorabilia. Well thought out, and designed, it's not fake looking or cheaply done, it looks legitimate. It's a great little perusal of the cities which we all imagined as kids, and now someone else has put it in a guide.

As a fan who thrives on buying merchandise that gives the feel of living within the universe of their fandoms, this book is the closest one can get to feeling like they've been to Gotham City. Book includes references to several pieces of history and canon within the comic universe, which was an incredibly pleasant surprise.

I love this so much, and it was obviously a labor of love. Great companion to the DCEU.

I recommend this to any fan of DC, films, TV or comics. It has easter eggs galore with references from all three mediums packed into them. Well worth the price!

First of all note that the guides for both Metropolis and Gotham are bound in a single volume. You just flip it around and turn it over!Nevermind the fact that you are reading a TimeOut guide to two imaginary cities in the US... the fabulous thing is that for all intents and purposes these destinations are real.Have DC really sat down and planned the cities from street names to metro stations to websites? I am not a marketing person but I sure can appreciate this initiative.I suspect these guides are more than just one-movie wonders. They exist for the entire DC Extended Universe: from BvS to Suicide Squad and beyond.

A fun novelty book that has been so well researched, I almost books a flight over. The author knows his stuff. For fans of both the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel this is not only a novelty to guide but an under the radar reference book as well. Fold out maps for both cities appear, and the detail extends to mocked up ads, where best to spot the Man of Steel and a host of other goodies. Well worth the outlay as a present, stocking filler or even - dare I say it - April fool for the unwary traveller Great Stuff! Time Out should be very pleased with themselves S if the genuine Travel Guides are anywhere near as good as this, then they are essential :-)

Surprisingly in-depth guide to Gotham and Metropolis. A great little bit of world building with a whole bunch of eater eggs hidden throughout.
