but their cost + the warehouse we work in didn't seem like a good fit
We are working to open a new retail store and needed some price tagging guns. We thought about purchasing a couple of the Monarch units, but their cost + the warehouse we work in didn't seem like a good fit. We came across these guns and couldn't be happier! They are simple to load once you get the hang of it (by reading or watching the video you can easily find on Google.) The price is stamped cleanly, and it seems like the ink rollers will last a while. Very happy with our purchase!Pros:- Price. When we bought ours, it was about half the cost of the Monarch ones we were considering.- Seems well built.- Easy to load.- Creates a good, clean stamped image.- Compatible with common label sizes, so it's easy to find refills.Cons:- None that I have found yet.

Easily Breakable, Affordable Price.
Learning how to install the tape is super complicated. There is arrows showing where it goes, but it is not as easy as it looks. Plus DO NOT DROP. We have bought so many of these because our employees drop them and they instantly break. Overall it does the job and for the money its not bad. Once the labels are installed, it is quick and easy to use.

Super easy to load!
Love this price/date gun! It's soooo much easier to load than the one given to me by the company I work for! I got so tired of fighting with the old one, spending way too much time trying to load the darn thing so I finally bought this one. It was inexpensive and it works well. Is it the "best" quality? Probably not, but I've dropped mine several times with no issues, no jams. Love it!

Works For Me.
This did just exactly what I was looking for. No complaints. It works great. I had a little trouble loading it at first, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out. I'm more of a word person and not pictures, so if you are that type of person, a little more descriptive instructions would have been nice, but if you follow pictures better, it's perfect.

Although the number dials were easy to use
Although the number dials were easy to use, the other inner mechanics were a night mare. Labels were a drag to feed through the machine and ink would get all over your hands. The ink dried out quickly and you had to run 20-30 labels through in order to get the ink to start printing on the labels. Component parts are cheaply made and broke after 1 month. Would not recommend.

So far so good. Starting to price hundreds of products this week. Let you know if things change.

Hard to load
Very hard to load. And ink smudges. Do not like this applicator at all!

Easy to use... A bit tricky to load the paper. It's good and cheap.
