Yes it can, you need to set the timer.

just unboxed this mixer i cannot find the grinder attachment it wasnt in the box is it in the machine

Check the front.just right in front of u it's covered with a plastic .slide it upwards and u will find it

do you need to use the timer to use it or can you use it in a pulse like fashion?

No you do not need the timer to operate the machine. But if the timer is flashing it will not operate. Press the middle button to stop flashing and ensure the timer is at zero. The cover for the liquidiser attachment needs to be flat (poor design) so ensure it is clicked in at the front and lower till flat.

Hi, the blender does not seem to work. The cutter within the blender do not move, is there anything I am doing wrong?
