Book Doesn't Seem to be Supported by Publisher
Despite being listed as an upcoming book on other excellent "learn by example" books by this publisher, this book does not appear on the publisher's website and there appears to be no access to the supporting files for the exercises. I am not sure why as this is an otherwise excellent book with very clear examples and useful exercises. It seems the publisher decided to abandon it.

Great exercise and examples for intermediate FPGA designers.
This book is a great lecture for FPGA interfaced VGA designes including reading from RAM and computing algorithms like drawing a line or a circle.Well written, commented and explained. It is also a great introduction, of you haven't touched on video/VGA/graphics at all, beacue it takes you from 0 knowledge, explaining how VGA works in the first place.RAM and Flash examples are only reading though. I hoped to see a kind of frame buffer implementation and I was curious to see how they implemented a double buffering without having a true videoRAM.The only downside I can think of, Is that the library IEEE.std_logic_unsigned is used instead of the more standard IEEE.numeric_std.But actually I enjoyed rewriting the examples to using the numeric_std lib.I learned a lot from this book and would buy it again.

Useful stuff!
Some formatting errors, but I learned a few new ideas reading through the worked examples.
