Good Length - Longer Than Most
Most of the wrist grips available are from 12 to 18 inches long, with these being 21 inches long. They seem durable, as they are heavy canvas with good Velcro. The smell is 'very light' and it's not bad at all, as far as chemical smell and I imagine it will dissipate soon. The thumb loops are nice to have, but you don't have to use them, as they are a little uncomfortable, so just unhook them with no real difference, as they stay in place. As far as stiffness, they seem stiff enough, although if you want them less stiff, just don't wrap them so tightly. Plus if they're not wrapped tightly, you can just leave them on between sets (or to warm up sore wrists if you've overdone it as I did with pushups, before I got these) These are the least expensive, although the longest grips that were advertised, so they seem like the best buy in this category. So I ,for what it's worth, highly recommend these.

Superior to and less expensive than the top-rated wrist wraps on Amazon
I've tried about 5 different brands of wrist wraps over the years, and these are by far the best. For reference, I have used these wrist wraps to bench 275lb and overhead press 175lbs at a bodyweight of 170lbs.These wraps are sufficiently stiff yet comfortable, unlike many other wrist wraps that are way too elastic to properly protect wrists during heavy lifts. This includes the #1 rated pair of wraps is by RipToned, which I tried and promptly returned. RipToned is also $4 more expensive as of 04/19/2020. I also really appreciate the fact that the loop of PlateFitness wraps that you put your thumb through is very durable and holds up after long periods of aggressive wrapping. Pro tip: this is the part of wrist wraps that is most likely to break down first. I remember I tried another brand of wraps years ago, also highly rated, and tore the thumb loop part within 2 months because it was flimsily made. That being said, I have gone through about 3 of these PlateFitness wraps in the last 5-6 years or so for the same reason. That's a longer time frame that you will get with many other wraps though.

They work great and smell like death
Pretty new to Crossfit and thus far my only complaint has been some wrist pain. Decided I'm too old for that so I bought these. Borrowed a friends pair made by Rogue Fitness that to my eyes appears identical except for the name. So for build quality/function, I'd go 5 stars. My only reason for knocking a star off is the smell. These things are like knock-your-socks-off stinky. Like the exhaust from whatever chemical factory made the polyester that became these things was bottled up and sprayed on the final product. And I don't even have a sensitive nose. People have let out farts that have cleared rooms that I barely notice. A hand-wash and dry helped, but just barely. Hoping a couple workouts and machine-washes tone these things down.***My Rating Criteria***Build Quality(47.5%) - 5.0 StarsEfficacy(47.5%) - 5.0 StarsPost-Sale Support(0.0%) - n/aPackaging/Presentation(5.0%) - 2.0 StarsWEIGHTED AVERAGE(100.0%) - 4.9 STARS

To put it into a better perspective, I've went from doing 4 sets of ...
Here's the deal, I purchased this item because I've took the next step and intensified my workout routine. I've started powerlifting and needed some wrist wraps that would help me maintain a solid posture, mainly bench pressing and using heavy free-weights. To put it into a better perspective, I've went from doing 4 sets of 185 (which kinda bugged my wrists) to doing 3 sets of 225 (with no hassles or strains to my wrists)I've been using them for over a month now and for my vigorous workout, they have been helpful and show no sign of any wear and tears. They are really durable. And personally I think I got them for a steal.Color wise, I was not looking for anything fancy. I assume by default all wrist wraps are black and red. Which is not bad. Honestly there is nothing negative I can say about this product. The price was great for what its intended purpose is. Those looking for a wrist wrap should consider these.

Grest product, better price!
I bought these wraps because I was starting to lift heavier weight for the first time in nearly 10 years. I began to have wrist pain and generally weaker wrist then when I was 27 years old. A friend recommended these so I researched and found a great price on these quality bands. After the first week I did all presses with dumbbells, barbells, and some Olympic lifts. The pain was gone. It took a little adjusting for me to find the optimal fit and tightness, but now when I lift heavy these are a must and they truly help with weak wrist, wrist pain, and overall wrist stability! Awesome product and GREAT price!

Love these. Been using them on my wrists for about a month or more now. Show no signs of fraying or anything. Just started going to the gym for the first time in 30 years and trying to do curls without any wrist support was killing my wrists. Since using these I have been curling and bench pressing every day with no pain whatsoever. Would definitely purchase again in a heart beat. Very comfortable and the perfect amount of support for the exercises I do each day. They do start to smell kind of bad from sweat but that's what going to the gym is all about ;o)

out of the package and onto the wrists these are fantastic product. They arrived quickly
It is, in my opinion, difficult to give a proper or fair review on a product I have had for less than a month. My only concern is how long these straps will hold up, which only time will tell of course. However, out of the package and onto the wrists these are fantastic product. They arrived quickly, and of course they require no type of learning to be able to use. I currently have a fractured hand on one side and a messed up ligament in the wrist on the other. The support provided by these straps allows me to continue in the gym despite these injuries. I wrap them extremely tight and have had no issues with any tearing or stretching. Hopefully they will hold up for a long time.
