Doesn't weigh small things
Don't buy if you want accurate scales. For example, if you need to add 5g of salt to a bread dough mix: tare the balance to zero, pour in some salt slowly and it still registers zero. Pour in some more, still zero. More... Still zero. Until there's obviously about 10g of salt in the bowl and you've ruined your sourdough bread 😔There seems to be a software bug that means it stays on zero unless you put in something heavy. It's the same if you want 15g if coffee beans. If you add them too slowly it stays on zero. Add them all at once and it's fine. This is very annoying, and even more annoying because the this bug was not in previous versions on Salter scales I've brought. Salter seen to have introduced it in this version.

Frustrating but simple, would not buy.
Look good and easy to use. HOWEVER, when slowly adding weight the scales do not register a change e.g. measuring out 10g of salt from a salt grinder does not add salt at a fast enough rate for the scales to detect. You can add a full 10g and they’ll never know. Also, the scales time out and auto turn off after a couple of minutes even if you’re still measuring and the weight is constantly changing. A time out feature is good after a period of inactivity but these time out even when active.

Do not buy
I don't recommend this scale at allI've been cooking yearsI used this product over Christmas to bake a lemon meringue cake and scones and my baking was ruined.I've since returned the product and gone back to analogue scales. I do not recommend this as I say.. very inaccurate.

Really good buy
Easy to use, small and practical. Seems to be very accurate (in sync with Royal Mail scales 😉)
