Finish is the best, giving the cleanest dishes and glassware. However this $8 item had a shipping charge of $13.97— for a delivery date of 17 days! Yikes, was I surprised. The merchant has the incredible name of Shopbargainclub. Yes, the listing online was accurate and I didn’t notice that this item was a 3rd party deal and not directly Amazon’s with the rapid and (for Prime) free delivery. So be very careful if you want this and be willing to pay and wait lots.

I use powder as it creates the least amount of packaging waste and is the best value.I tried this as the product I used to use is no longer available. Only the "advanced" formula of that one is still available in powder form, and it causes breathing problems for my family, likely due to added enzymes.It seems to clean as well as what I used before. It doesn't create any odor or breathing problems for us.However, I have been experimenting with "store brands" as well as trying this product, and they also seem to clean just as well, and for about half the price. I remove difficult soils from anything I put into our dishwasher, so I am not asking much of the product.

Cascade and others leave a filmy gritty coating in your dishwasher. Bummer. Finish powder does the best job. No spots on dishes or glass. interior of dishwasher clean as a whistle Outrageous shipping cost but you get what you pay for. You don't need to use much for excellent results.

Always use Finish powder. Great item

Quality. Used for 15 years. The only downfall was shaping charges. Double the amount I paid for actual product. Thought it was Amazon Prime. It wasn't. Out of country. Double check before you otfer.

This is the best dishwasher detergent for the hard water in my area. The powders allow "me" to be in control of how much detergent is needed per load and it cleans my dishes better than any other on the market. I think it's a shame that it appears to have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that. Hoping it still is available to order somewhere.

It seems there’s a shortage of Finish dishwasher powder. Hard to find, and expensive. I was happy to find this relatively inexpensive 3-pack, and also that the boxes are larger than normal. I was less happy that the boxes were bulging slightly, and the powder was “clumpy.” And it seems to be formulated differently - it does not clear out of the soap dispenser, as was the case for all of our prior boxes.It turns out that these 3 kg boxes are from Canada. Possible experiencing moisture on the trip to the US. No telling how old they are.I would not recommend these.BTW, we don’t like the individual pods due to the plastic wrap that dissolves into the dishwasher load.

My dishwasher is fairly new and very efficient with condensation drying. I've tried every available detergent in the last couple of years, and Finish powder if my favorite!1. The packaging is straightforward. (A simple cardboard box with a small metal pour spout.) Love this, since it is easy to recycle. The finish pods have a foil wrapper on each one that must be removed. This creates a lot of waste. The other brands use a dissolving film from a water-soluble polymer (polyvinyl alcohol) which is considered safe. Although this polymer contains a toxic monomer called vinyl acetate, which can harm aquatic lifeforms and causes tumors in rats.2. The powder makes it easy for me to control how much detergent I use. If I have a really dirty load of baking pans, mixing bowls, etc. I can easily add more.3. This detergent cleans very well and produces nice drying results when I use a rinse aid.Overall, I am very pleased with Finish dishwashing powder! I hope it continues to be available.
