HSS-003X2 Pro Stereo Interconnect, Dual REAN 1/4" TRS to Same, 3 Feet

Previously, I was using a Hosa CSS-201 patch cable (similar to this product) which ran between two of my A/D converter balanced outputs to my Mackie studio monitors. Even though that cable sat in one position and was never moved in ~4 years, for whatever reason out of the blue the right channel connector gave up the ghost. I noticed on the packaging for this cable that all Hosa cables are covered by a limited lifetime warranty, which I wasn’t aware of before. I wouldn’t have bothered with it anyway for the CSS-201, since it’s a low-end product that sells for only around ten bucks. In my home studio, I make extensive use of all sorts of Hosa cables, and have never experienced a single problem with any of them before this occurred. However, I’m actually glad it did in this case, since this one is so much better than the old one in every way. It’s thicker, sports improved shielding, and is nicely reinforced where it splits into the L/R channel jacks. Still, what really makes it a superior patch cable is the use of REAN connectors. They’re extremely beefy, rugged, fit tightly, and don’t introduce one iota of line noise. On top of all this, considering its build and performance the asking price is extremely reasonable. My DAW is up and running again, the monitors sound excellent, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. This product deserves and receives my highest recommendation!

Used 2 of these to create a special snake for my keytar. I go in to a submixer for stereo from the AxSynth to the submixer, then stereo to 2 channels on my main mixing board. These 2 TRS cables allow for a balanced connection to the submixer 1/4" inputs, keeping noise and hum down considerably. Repairable metal ends mean that they can be fixed if they grow faulty over time. These have been used for live performances for a year now and are no worse for the wear. Highly recommended for the price and the quality.

Can't say anything negative about this. It's a good, long TRS cable. I like that the connectors are not molded on, in case a repair is needed sometime in the future. Well made and they work.
