Amaryllis Bulb 'White' - Growing Amaryllis Bulb in a 13cm Pot

I bought this as a Christmas present, thinking it was boxed, but it was actually a growing plant. Anyway it was excellent. Lovely blooms.

It was fine, nothing spectacular because it was already 5 inches high when it arrived and twisted as the bow stated this way up, but the planted bulb was laid sideways in the box.

Whilst it grew and flowered beautifully, it was NOT white as ordered, but red, defeating the object of my purchase.This is in contravention of the Trades Description laws: no excuse was made for the incorrect item being sent and by the time it was evident the flower wasn't white it was impractical to return the now huge plant.

Very disappointing ....I followed directions on lable but the outer leaves of the actual bud are withered and the bud itself is brown and tight with no chance oc it flowering .....waste of money in my opinion...I have grown these before but never from a mail order one and wont be doing so again. A pity !!!

The media could not be loaded.  It came in good condition and quickly I am very happy with this purchase

Excellent many flowers and they were big

Ordered the white variety but it ended up being red , still pretty but not what ordered .I had ordered 3 in total one of each colour variety yet all 3 identical

Very poor value for money most of of them never even flowered
