After owning my 16 oz THERMOS Brand travel Tumbler for almost 3 years, this one has passed the test of time. It still keeps my coffee hot at least 5 hrs later. To be fair, I should mention that I drink my coffee black, and fill with hot tape water first for just 1-2 minutes .But that is only when I want hot coffee 6 hrs later....I take a 2nd Thermos with me for after lunch.About the LIDS : Yes they do seal tight enough to not leak even a drop. BUT I do test it first. If it leaks, it just needs only a smidge more turning to be in the exact spot. ( and to put my reading glasses on first .. daah ) I am guessing that the reviews that say the lids leak, are not adjusting the lid a smidge more. It actually IS possible to see "closed" & yet still have a leak. Just test it, and tweak IF need be.My hope would be to make the lid have that " click" sound when lid is closed tight rather than when opened. BUT that may not be possible, b/c that sound could be from releasing the vaccume seal. Oh well.2 family members have borrowed my mug for longer day trips. Plus 1 friend borrowed my mug for 7 hrs of deliveries in the winter in New England. ALL have remarked how hot the coffee stayed. So they are each getting their own for upcoming birthdays & Christmas gifts. Maybe 2 in different colors, so the spouse that leves the house 2nd can still have her mug..LOL

These are perfect for an all-day or all-night consistent temperature. They fit very well into the cupholders in the car (2025 Equinox). I've left a cold water and ice in it overnight, and there was still ice in it in the morning. Same for the hot cup of coffee in the morning; if I don't drink it all at 8:00, it is still hot at 2:00.

This is actually my second one I've purchased. It keeps my coffee hot all day! Even when I leave it my car in the middle of winter. Easy to hold and drink from.

Lasted almost 4 years. Still holds liquid, insulates, does not spill when closed, survivesd many drops, including from 2d floor balcony to concrete below. But … the outside red paint now flakes off from the top down, the words “Open” and “Closed” fade to black, and it has taken so many falls that the bottom is not flat so it’s not stable on a table, desk or countertop. I have taken it everywhere, including daily motorcycle rides in the paniers, all-day babysitting and around the USA in a van. It has been easy to clean with or without a dishwasher. It is nice to have a bottlebrush to clean the bottom inside. I have another with a handle, but the same mechanism. I have not lost the three silicon gaskets per cup and they are easy to clean. No wear on thosecgazkets at all. Even without the words visible, it is easy to use one-handed when driving a car or van. I replaced it with a 17-oz Ocean Bottle ($47!) which has a small loop handle. I hope that minimizes the drops. The Thermos cup with the handle feels great, but is a bit awkward in a cup holder. (I use that one for hot coffee when based at home.)

I made coffee at 5:30 11:30 in the morning it was still hot enough said there isn't a better thermos available anywhere in the world

Great coffee mug, I like the way the top screws on and the way it opens and closes I can easily do with my gloves on at work. It also keeps the coffee hot for at least 4 hours (I have drank my coffee in that amount of time since getting the cup) However be warned if you order the midnight blue it looks completely black, I thought I was sent the wrong color at first until I saw that black isn't even an option.
