I like the tiles themselves for teaching numeracy skills. However, the packaging they come in is inferior. I had to cut through the mangled string they had knotted on the bag covering the wooden box this came in. Next, I had to get help to slide out the wooden top of the box which houses the tiles. Then I had to get sand paper to fix the grooves in the top of the box so that the wooden top could slide in and out. At the price I paid for these, I should not have been put through all of this!

It's ok. the pieces should fit together better.

My four year old was given this as a present and he really loved it. It was one of those toys that he took to bed with him at night so he could immediately play with it again the next morning. The pieces themselves are very durable, probably a quarter inch thick and will definitely last long enough to hand down to his two younger siblings. I was a bit worried about the box top, getting it off and on. My son has several puzzle boxes that slide out and in like this one and he can get very frustrated with them but this box was very easy to manipulate and close; I could tell he was very relieved about it. I think the perfect age group for this is probably 3-4 years old. I really hope they come out with a box of numbers 11-20 in the future. Overall I like the quality and durability of these; they're definitely gonna last!

Got this for my 2 year old. He has a ton of fun with it. I really like that it's playing and teaching numbers but it's also like a puzzle so it has mental and physical usage.
