Plain basic unity gain NMO antenna
The truck is 13'6" so I needed a short dual band antenna. This fit the bill, no gain but gets me on the air for ham and GMRS. The cost is good and after 40,000mi on a semi, it's still working great.

Reliable
I’ve used this antenna for a week now for voice communications and APRS and it seems to be working well from my truck. Plus, it is not to long to result in driving into the garage or other low hanging things.

Works good for what I use it for
I put it on a mag mount on my truck. SWRs are good but right close to 3:00 to 1:00 at 462.000KHz.

Great for 2M, 70CM, and even GMRS/FRS
This thing gave me a 1.1 SWR on the two ham bands, and like a 1.3 or 1.2 on GMRS/FRS. The performance is great and I'm sure I'll use it every day until it gets snapped off by a tree branch or fastfood drivethrough. When that happens, I'll probably just replace it with my signal stuff antenna.

Not in SWR Range for 460-465 Mhz
Disappointed as this antenna showed fine for 144/440 but was 2.5-2.75 SWR between 460-465Mhz. Not ideal for GMRS or FRS frequencies.

Snap!
Broke off the first time I went under the McDonald’s low clearance sign in the drive through.

Respectable performance for the price
Installed this using a permanent mount on the roof of my pickup. Tested it on 2 meters and 70 cm ham bands with very acceptable swr measurements. Not as good though in the 155+ and 465+ commercial bands but still within safe limits. Performance seems to be on-par with most other dual band antennas that I have tested. Wish it had a spring at the base.

Magnet strong enough
Strong magnet holds to pick up truck roof securely- just make sure you remove it before going into a carwash....... I was able to use it to pick up the local repeater at 25 miles and broadcast on my Explorer 2M handheld for mobile use.

Came apart in 2 months
Installed this on my truck but the top half came off 2 months into owning it. Everything was tight when installed.
