I remember rice less than 2 kilo and it was not 2 kilo the bag was not more than 400 grams

Good ish But I prefer the Full Pre Boiled Tanjavur Rice
So as I understand, this is semi-pre-boiled... (partially steamed?) rice. It does still feel a bit starchy and fattening. The Tanjavur full boiled rice, I think called ponni, is a more rounded version of this that feels considerably less stuffy. Anyhoo.. it is just a nice alternative to par boiled / sella Basmati. This rice does not expand much and therefore does not add much in volume. It is however, pleasant in taste.
