These cables are a great length and they work as they should with no lag time. They fit with our generic GameCube controllers and right into the Wii system with no problems. However, we’ve only had them for a couple months and already the end of the cable where it plugs into the controller has worn away and the wires are exposed. Granted they still work, but for how much longer? I take very good care of my things and I’m surprised that this happened.

Both cords do what I need them to do, extend my GameCube controller cords so I'm not pressed up against my TV when I'm gaming. Only problem is that one of the cords would pop out of the slot on my Wii when it was moved just slightly. I had to examine this and found that the part that goes into the console was a little bit shorter than the other cord. I attempted to right this myself with a set of pliers and by being very careful. I ended up bending the metal in such a way that the cord no longer popped out as easy but I wasn't able to extend the shortened piece. The other cord is perfect, and when playing 2 player games they both get the job done now

Great price for the 2 extension cables. I used these to extend my gamecube controllers to my Wii and they worked flawlessly. Great product.

I bought these on June 24th, delivered on June 27th and by July 8th both of them turned out to be defective and no return policy. I recommend you not buy these. What a disappointment.

Can finally play some of my old Gamecube games without sitting cross-legged on the floor haha

These cords are VERY long and there is absolutely NO impediment on the reaction time in game or play style whatsoever. I've used them for about two months and they still work just fine, I'll update the review if they ever stop working. So far, I've been shocked by how well these cords work! Highly recommended!

I bought these hoping to use them for Super Smash Bros. It was difficult to plug them in at first. They fit very tightly in the controller port. Upon plugging in the first one, my controller's rumble function started vibrating uncontrollably. None of my button presses were registering. I thought maybe I just had a bad cable. So, I tried out the second one, and as soon as I plugged it in, my Wii shut off. I tried both cables multiple times with the same result: One causes the controller to vibrate, the other turns off the Wii. I certainly didn't expect anything like this to happen considering all the glowing reviews for this product. For the record, my controller is an authentic Nintendo Gamecube controller and works perfectly in all of my Wii's controller slots.

My friend's child more or less ate my Wavebird, so getting these extension cables was a much cheaper solution than buying another. If you don't mind cables, get these, they work great.
