NKJV Audio Bible

Pros: It includes the Old Testament and New Testament. The chapters are mentioned before the narrator reads. The narrator's voice is deep and calm. He tries to pronounce all the names of people and places correctly. Nice travel case. It is compact and fits on the side of my car door. It has a zipper and it keeps the CD's safe.Cons: The narrators voice is so calm that sometimes I find mind wandering off. It sounds like they spontaneously stick in instrumental music behind the narrator which actually distracts me. He will be reading then suddenly there will be music behind him for a short time. The music is low and a type of classical. When he reads the names of people and places, I have to listen closely because he pronounces them the correct way, not how you would typically hear a pastor pronounce them. There can be a change in volume or in his voice when they combine recordings. Sometimes it will happen in the middle of a sentence.Overall: I like the set. I am glad I purchased it.

Awesome, Awesome and did I mention awesome. Listen I drive to work in California Traffic everyday a good hour or hour and a half to get to work on weekdays so these Bible CD's are an absolute joy and blessing. The Narrator may seem a little fast to some , but not to me. In fact I think he is great, but then how could you go wrong reading the Word of God right?. Anyways I manage to power down one CD a day with my traffic and the funny things is when I finally reach my destinations, whether work or home, I don't want to stop listening. The way they have the CD's recorded allows you to easily go back or forward with a push of an arrow, this is especially great when I want to hear the chapter over or listen to my favorite verses again. This is an absolute work of art and a labor of love. I feel so uplifted and inspired each time I listen that I just want to keep feeling good. I truly enjoy reading the Bible, but this is an added bonus for my long and weary trips to and from work. The fact that this is recorded in the New King James Version only adds to the value of having these CD's. It is a wonderful treasure I hope to enjoy for many road trips in the future who ever thought I would actually look forward to being in traffic. GET THE CD's

Its really nice to be able to hear the bible while your driving. The narrator's do a fine job of telling the stories, and the music playing lightly in the background corresponds just fine.

It was more then I could ask for. The audio set even came before the due date. It was everything that was expected. The case is just perfect for travel. All CD's are in order as the Bible Books, neatly labeled and easy to locate. I was thoroughly pleased.

Really like having my NKJV Bible on CD. I can take it with me when I walk or rest. I would recommend this to all my friends& family. It comes in such a nice carring case also. I was so surprised it came so quickly. God Bless

These cd brings the bible alive! I listen to them as I work and I get hours of bible time insted of just a few min. of reading time. Great blessings.

Loved that it came within a week's time. Too bad the "free shipping" option wouldn't have gotten it here soon enough. Haven't listened to the actual CDs yet since it's a gift for my mom. Hope it will work for her.

Several have said that the quality of cd is not good, but I received a 100% successful transaction. Discs all work, and for 54 (or however many) of them that's excellent. Clearly read, albeit with an American accent, and, as far as my knowledge on the range of component books goes, everything is present. Presented in a nice carrying wallet so you can listen in the car, or with Flander's kids down the park.

I bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Far superior and easier to use than the .MP3 versions even though it's the same Bible version and the same person reading it. The .MP3 version is flawed and misses then ends of chapters and it is almost impossible to find what you want but this is a dream to use.

I bought this for someone who was quite ill at the time and he was unable to read as his eyesight had been impaired. He said it was a great source of comfort to him when he was in hospital.
