Functional
I cannot recommend this product enough! I installed this product around my shower pan to keep water away from the base, and it works incredibly well! This product is very thick, but more so than you might expect. 100% water proof, easy to clean and wipe away grime. You must be careful when installing as the backing is extremely sticky and it difficult to move once placed; but on the bright side of that, I believe this will be durable and long lasting. This also blends super well with my shower pan and also looks like it is part of the pan itself.

Sticks great, holds on well, and deflects water nicely.
I bought this to deflect water dripping down the inside of my shower door to the inside of the shower. That shouldn't be necessary, but the guys who tiled my bathroom are idiots, and didn't slope the threshold correctly. As several other reviewers have suggested, the keys to making it stick well seem to be preparation and heat. I unrolled the dam material and left it in the bathroom for 24 hours. I wiped the tile down with some alcohol swabs and let it dry, and then I used my wife's hair blow-dryer to heat both the tile and the dam. It worked perfectly, and it hasn't let go, 2 months later. I did not bother to caulk the edge of the dam, because I still get a tiny bit of water leaking through the grout-lines between the tiles. Which I'll fix someday, probably with little dabs of clear silicone caulk, just like the manufacturer suggests.I'm very happy, and more importantly, my wife is very happy.UPDATE: After a total of 4 months, with the shower receiving daily use by 2 people, the adhesive is failing. As the third picture shows, I can pull back several inches of the dam. The adhesive on the back of this section is completely inactive - not even tacky. I'm going to try applying the clear silicone that the manufacturer suggested, both as an adhesive for this section, and as a gap-filler for the rest of the dam.

Much better in a straight line rather than curved around your sink.
Shows that it can go around the sink and it looks great in the video but in actuality, it’s really not that great around the sink. Mine keeps bubbling up on two corners. However, in a straight line, this product is fantastic. But I do wish it came with an adhesive or something to help with the stickiness to whatever you’re putting it on. Does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning it?

Easy to use glue is weak
I like the product but, the glue does not hold on painted dry wall. I can recommend until stronger glue is available.

The greatest problem solver on Amazon!
I recently got a new vanity but because my home is so old and my walls so uneven and textured, I couldn’t get it to sit quite flush… even with the baseboards removed! I looked everywhere for a solution to cover the small gaps and prevent water from seeping down the walls. Enter this product! Omg, what a godsend. It was SO easy to install. I mitered the corners using regular scissors and I think it looks awesome. It honestly adds a more finished look to my vanity. Functional and aesthetic, win-win! If you have an annoying gap somewhere near a splash zone, you MUST buy this. I would pay 3x what it costs to be honest. Get it, get it, get it!!

It sticks but it doesn’t stay
It worked for a few days. Stuck great, stopped water. But then it started to peel and the water wore out the seal and it didn’t stick anymore. Is not durable at all. Was a total waste of money and is not worth your time.

Budget-Friendly Fix That Looks Amazing
This was an absolute lifesaver for my newly remodeled sink cabinet. I couldn’t find matching marble tiles to cover the edges, but this solved the problem beautifully—and at a fraction of the cost! I wasn’t sure it would blend in, but it fit perfectly and looks great.

Great!
Not sure why this item doesn't have 5 star reviews. It got stuck pretty well, I was able to use the shower almost immediately and it stayed glued on. It looks great and does the job.
