This is pure junk.
Unbelievably terrible piece of equipment. I tried to till 1 acre that had already been disked. Just dirt, that's it. This thing literally dissolved before I could finish. Within 1 hour the PTO twisted off (destroyed). The 3 point hitch attachments cannot be tightened enough to secure them to the implement, thus they start to slip around the equipment within 30 minutes of use. After that, it's just a matter of time before the PTO snaps. Like a dummy, I tried to crank them tighter and put on another PTO. Within 1 hour the bolts that hold the gear box together literally all fell out while I was tilling, and the gear box just exploded. Oil everywhere, gear box destroyed, and my second PTO destroyed. This is a poorly manufactured mess and should not be sold to anyone. I am out $1,100, plus $250 shipping, plus another $300 for the second PTO. All of this occurred in the first 3 hours of usage. Pure junk.

Great tiller for half the price.
Great tiller for half the price of the 'big names.' This thing is a high-powered whirling blades of death device, so you best be very careful with it. Offset tilling capability is great for keeping tire-treads out of your field/garden. Make sure to read the manual backwards and forwards before assembling this device. Now, I just got the thing, and it seems quite solid. It's got a number of (grease) lubrication points and two compartments where gear oil are required, I suggest if you're excited about getting one of these, you have these things on hand when it arrives. Accubic is a small company, but their web site is a great source of all sorts of information, including the owner's manual and parts manual, so you can read ahead of your acquisition. The only thing I find annoying about this is the plastic guard on the PTO shaft. It's really easy to get it to damage itself, if you 'dangle' the PTO shaft from the tiller, it grates on the clutch bolts... Not good! If it weren't for the risk of rocks damaging the shaft, I'd get rid of that guard... it's annoying, and has two grease points (??) you've got to lube!
