The reception sensitivity of this radio is incredible on both FM and SW. you simply get the radio to search and store all the stations on the FM band …I was so impressed with how many it found …I never realised that I had so much choice. Well the sound quality on FM is exceptional too, you have to hear it to believe it. On Shortwave the tuning is spot on , fine tuning and adjustable bandwidths are great for picking out those weaker stations. SSB reception on SW is so much easier than earlier radios I have used, no twiddling of a BFO knob on this radio , once you get on frequency it’s already set up for you.It also comes with a very nice robust carrying box … when doing a comparison with other dealers make sure they are offering this as part of the package as most I checked out aren’tIt also comes with an SSD card included … but I haven’t tried that yet.This radio certainly has the “WOW” factor and is certainly worthy of 5 Stars.

I got this radio because I wanted to scan shortwave to see what's out there. Results are good. But make yourself a good sw antenna.
