Some of the reviews didn’t rate this product very highly but I it perfectly suitable for me needs, I am using the third hand to hold stems of flowers still to take macro photos. I was impressed with the weight and stability of the product … the clips are not the best, the teeth on one side are slightly out of alignment but it works ok and wasn’t expensive

I’ve found this to be a great help when doing a repair that required soldering.

The base is better if clamped to the work surface. Otherwise the helping hands will move even with light pressure

Unless this seller isn't sending customers the right thing on here or perhaps selling a fake one to this, I do not understand why would anyone condemn this nice strange looking yet effective gadget.For me, I've bought similar on ebay and it is robust and stays put when soldering wires. I used to use two chairs to aid soldering. It has changed my DIY life to some extent.Look, please if you're not happy with some reviewers then simply buy it off another seller. I'm very angry with myself why didn't I get this a long time prior? I recommend it absolutely without any iota of reservation.

This just didn't do the job for me. The build quality is very poor. Almost everything depends on a single screw, which would not do up tightly enough to hold the assembly upright - it repeatedly flopped over in use.The base is neither big nor heavy enough to support the rest of the assembly. Once again, it kept falling over.Returned for full refund.
