What a great buy these were! Five vibrant colors in a very handy pad. I use them mostly to protect our wood table from microwaved plates. We kept getting those darn steam/heat white marks on our table and these have saved the day (and the table!) They do not slip and slide around on the surface. They are advertised as withstanding heat to 500 degrees. I have since given away two of them to family members who were equally impressed with their worth. Buy them; you will be glad you did!

These are great trivets. Flexible, clean easy, inexpensive, pretty. Meant for protecting your countertops, not used as a pot holder for your hand. Use them as they were intended and you will not be disappointed. Store flat with little space, lightweight.

Pros: bright colorsCons: I was taking cookie sheet from the oven and felt uncomfortable heat thru one of these. I'll be using two next time. Watch out that the hole is not touching heat source and skin. Not as flexible as a cloth hot pad.Don't really care for these as pot holders. I may use them as padding for kitchen items (i.e. trivets).

These silicone mats are one of the better things I have bought in a long time. I use them for potholders and for hot pans on the counter. They protect my hands better than cloth potholders. I also appreciate the fact that I can rinse them off or put them in the dishwasher when they get soiled. I plan on buying more for gifts this year.

Love these potholders. Too many years spent with damp potholders trying to remove pans from oven without burning myself. These work whether damp or not, and are flexible enough to grasp anything needed.Update: After using these for a while I realized that they are not thick enough to allow me to hold a hot cookie sheet long enough to unload it, and not comfortable while draining a hot pot of pasta. Limited use - will continue to use my thick terry potholders for some uses. May discard these if they are more trouble than they are worth.

These silicon pot holders add a great little pop of color to any kitchen. I put a suction cup hook on my tile backsplash and simply keep them hanging right by the stove and oven for ease of use.PROS:The pot holders are "textured" so it grips pots, pans, casserole dishes very well.Great pop of color for the kitchen.Very easy to clean, just pop them in the dishwasher.Easy to store. They don't take up a lot of space, and you can even hang them from a hook.CONS:As they're silicon, they heat through rather quickly. They'll work fine for just pulling something out of the oven, but if you need to hold the item for much longer than a few seconds, they tend to get warm quick.One of the holders didn't have the hole punched all the way through. It tore when I tried to punch it through essentially rendering one of them useless.I've had a couple of burns due to the hole. Grabbing stuff from the oven, sometimes a finger or palm would get a quick burn from touching the dish through the hole. (quickly learned to avoid it)Overall, these are a great addition and I use them constantly. I love that their easy to clean. Gave 4 stars only due to the fact that one of them arrived essentially defective

Bought these because they had 5 star reviews here. Both my son and my husband have gotten burned using them. They are not thick enough to take pans out of the oven! If you do buy them, be SURE to use two of them thick, so you don't get burned. All three of us found out the hard way and it HURT!

I have bought similar items before that were no longer available. I use them mostly for setting hot pans and such on to protect surfaces and for holding hot plates/bowls and such. They are excellent for my usage.
