Comfortable, Well Made, and Practical
I bought one of these and my initial reaction was that it wasn’t quite my style. I already have a bunch of fleece jackets, some pull overs, and this one just seemed a little less sexy than most of the others that I have. So I gave this to my wife, and she wore it once or twice, but it was too big for her.One day for no particular reason I started wearing this again and I noticed after a day or two that it was extremely comfortable. It’s nice that you can button it up when you’re cold and unbutton it as it gets warmer. The side pockets are really hefty and you can stick your phone in there and other stuff. The “build quality “ on this is impressive. The material is just the right thickness. It’s a little too heavy to be called a shirt, I would call it a light jacket. I wear it mostly indoors, this would not be warm enough on a cold Colorado day outside. You could maybe run to get the mail but that’s about it.Anyway, I fell in love with it and I’ve basically worn it consistently during the winter of 22/23. It dawned on me the other day that I like this so much , that I really should buy another. Amazon was still selling them, and the price was so incredible, I went ahead and bought one in several different colors. So I think I have a total of six of these now. For the price these just can’t be beat. I’m 6‘4“and about 240 pounds and the double XL fits nicely. It doesn’t go really far below the belt level on me, but it goes far enough.I suspect your experience will be similar to mine, and you’ll find yourself wearing this all winter long.

Good quality, thick and warm, and neither too tight nor too loose.

Perfect Fitting. Extremely Soft. Great Quality.
I recently purchased the Amazon Essentials Men's Long-Sleeve Polar Fleece Shirt Jacket on October 10, 2023, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. This jacket fits like a charm, offers fantastic quality, and provides a level of comfort that's hard to beat. The fit of the jacket is spot-on, and it complements my style perfectly. It's not too tight, but it's not overly baggy either. The quality of the materials used is evident as soon as you put it on. The seams are well-stitched, and the overall construction is solid, promising durability. The standout feature of this jacket is its remarkable softness. It feels incredibly gentle against the skin, making it a pleasure to wear for extended periods. Moreover, it's exceptionally warm, making it an ideal choice for chilly weather. I've worn it on brisk fall days, and it kept me toasty throughout. In summary, the Amazon Essentials Men's Long-Sleeve Polar Fleece Shirt Jacket is a fantastic addition to any wardrobe. It combines a great fit, impressive quality, unparalleled softness, and exceptional warmth. I'm delighted with my purchase, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a cozy and stylish jacket.

A wardrobe WORKHORSE
I was lucky enough to buy this shirt when it was on sale ($16ish), and I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. I'd never bought any Amazon essentials products or clothing so I took a chance. It's ended up occasionally beating some of my favorite hoodies/jackets when I'm running out of the house. This shirt was exactly what I was looking to wear for those "in-between" weather days of fall and spring. It's soft, warm, and holds up well against a cool breeze. It's easily unbuttoned if you find yourself getting warmer. The material is a microfiber fleece (don't quote me on that) that is very similar to those North Face jackets. It's got the right amount of thickness to stand alone as a shirt jacket or as a layering piece for even colder weather. It's also not high maintenance in terms of laundry settings and the like.If I had any gripes, it's that the cuff buttons tend to unbutton themselves easily at times. The material is also a magnet for sawdust, grass, and things like that if you're working outdoors. I bought mine in solid black so these things stick out like a sore thumb. Keep a lint roller handy if this is a pet peeve of yours. Not a deal-breaker for me in any event.I hope they make more varieties and colors. It's cheap, durable, does the job, one of my favorite purchases on this site. I highly recommend it.

The 'Yes, I'm Actually Wearing My Blanket' Jacket...
Let's be honest here - this isn't just a fleece jacket, it's basically a socially acceptable way to wear your favorite blanket in public. It's that perfect middle ground between "I just rolled out of bed" and "I'm an outdoorsy person who might go hiking at any moment" (even if your most strenuous activity is reaching for the TV remote). The double-sided polar fleece is like having a warm hug on standby, and those hand warmer pockets? They're basically tiny sleeping bags for your frozen fingers. The button-up design gives it that "I'm actually wearing real clothes" vibe, while the chest pockets are perfect for storing snacks... I mean, important outdoor gear. What really sells this piece is its versatility. Wear it to the office and everyone thinks you're sporty. Wear it hiking and you look prepared. Wear it to the grocery store and you're just living your best cozy life. The regular fit means there's enough room to layer up underneath without looking like you're wearing your dad's jacket. One warning though: this jacket is so comfortable, you might find yourself making up excuses to go outside just to wear it. "Oh, the mailbox? Better bundle up for that treacherous 20-foot journey."
