Dakota Designs 5NWJ1 Stool Cushion, Round Padded, Brown

I used it to cover the seat of a 1950's-era stool (Royal Metal Corporation) that was cold and uncomfortable. The foam is firm and to my butt's liking. There's an elastic that comes down over the round part of the stool and is strong; it doesn't seem like the cushion will slide on the seat. The stool has a metal lumbar support and I cut a slice in the fabric so I could slip the arm through it and bolted it back onto the chair.

This cover is best suited for a wooden breakfast bar stool than your average "bar" bar stool. It is not thick and is narrow so I had to completely rip out the foam padding on my current stool cover and instead utilized the foam that came with this stool cover. It works but I sit lower. I wish I could of found a replacement cover that worked for bigger i.e. Thicker, bar stools.

I thought this was a bit much to pay for a stool seat cover - but was buying as a gift for my husband, so he can more comfortably play guitar. Seat has just the right firmness - he loved it, and that makes me happy! I'd recommend.

Comfortable and it fit well on my antique drafting stool that I can't sit on for too long without some sort of padding. Thanks!

Perfect fit!

I put this cushion on a bar stool in my kitchen where I sit and work on my computer. I spend about 2 hrs / day and find it comfortable. Definitely an improvement over a plain wooden seat!
